plagiarism to my own understanding is coping someone else's work and claiming it to be mine.

But

Wikipedia defines plagiarism as: "Plagiarism is the representation of another author's language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions as one's own original work. In educational contexts, there are differing definitions of plagiarism depending on the institution. Plagiarism is considered a violation of academic intregity such as truth and knowledge through intellectual and personal honesty in learning, teaching, research, fairness, respect and responsibility, and a breach of journalistic ethics. It is subject to sanctions such as penalties, suspension, expulsion from school or work, substantial fines and even imprisonment. Source:

plagiarism is bad, its just like stealing and also lying about wat was stolen. it's taking what does not belong to you and still saying it yours.

Plagiarism occur in different forms and all are considered an offence

Direct Plagiarism

This can be define as copying word-for-word of someone's work without roer citations or quotation.

Self Plagiarism

Self Plagiarism happens when you copy sentences fom your previous work and add it to the resent one. And submiting without proper permission.

Mosaic Plagiarism

This occurs when person borrows phrases from another writer without quoting the source. Or frind synonyms of the writings without changing the general structure

Accidental Plagiarism

Accidental plagiarism occurs when a person neglects to cite their sources, or misquotes their sources, or unintentionally paraphrases a source by using similar words, groups of words, and/or sentence structure without attribution."

Nice write up, I like the part you said "it's taking what does not belong to you and still saying it yours." that's why I like this platform there is no room for plagiarize.
