Hello steemians, welcome to my first publication here. In regards to the newcomer's program - Achievement 1, I will be introducing myself below. Read on to know more about me.
About Me
My name is Worlu Elizabeth with the username @steven-elizabeth the combination of my name and dad's name. I was born on the 14th of April 2000(am 21yrs old) in the family of Mr and Mrs worlu Stevens ndeze from emolga in Rivers State, am from a family of eight(8). My parents, I and my five siblings (3 boys and 2 girls).
Things were actually going well with my parents who stays in Lagos then till there relocation back to Rivers State after the birth of our first son then in 2003. We stared with a new phase of life my dad lost his job with NNPC, he started with palm oil production just to make sure he trains his children cause he saw the light in us while my mum started a petit trading(selling of fairly used clothes)to assist in supporting the family. He made sure we went to school not just school but a private school.
After my primary school I had a scholarship into secondary school where I obtained my Waec and Neco certificate in 2016. My dad never wanted me to stay at home he had to register me in port Harcourt polytechnic then Captain Elechi amadi polythenic where I did my two years Law program and obtained my National diplomat in Law.
No money to further my education so I stopped and worked with bet9ja for two years where I saved for two years and sat for Jamb and God been faithful I got admission to study french In Ignatius ajuru University of Education Rivers State..just in my year one my dad died after after been ill for 8months. Things became more tougher for me,my mum and siblings.. I had to stop and started working with bet9ja where I currently work so as to assist my mum in taking care of the family. My Experience and How I Got To Know Steemit Platform
I had no idea about crypto... initially I thought crypto was fraud, I saw people doing it as fraudsters and never believed it's legal not untill I met @bright-obias who told me about it and also gave some information about steemit. He tutored me on the platform and made me erase the thoughts I once had about it and I know and believe that I won't regret my stay here and me knowing the platform.
He also told me about the ongoing lectures on cryptocurrency here, which I am willing to join anytime soon, I also understand that there are some limitations to becoming a student of this wonderful initiative. I aim at meeting the criteria for becoming a student of the steemit crypto academy where I can broaden my knowledge about Cryptocurrencies.
My Hobbies
I love reading...I love acquiring knowledge and educating people on it it gives me a whole lot of joy and it's a pleasure writing to you and I wish and hope to be comfortable among you and I will be glad if my stay here makes me more versatile and acquire more knowledge.
