What is Plagiarism

Plagiarism is representing someone other's work as our own without mentioning them or without giving them credit. It should not be done.

If someone express some work or sentence from some source without mentioning that source then it refers to plagiarism.

Plagiarism is a kind of crime as People took out other people efforts or work without their knowledge and represent that as their own work.

Types of Plagiarism

1. Self Plagiarism
2. Mosaic Plagiarism
3. Direct Plagiarism
4. Accidental Plagiarism

How to avoid plagiarism

We can avoid plagiarism by mentioned the proper source from where we have taken the data or work. We should properly mention the source or should give the credit to the person by mentioning their name or link.

Citation

Citation is the way that you tell your readers that the work is not yours and it is taken from somewhere else by mentioning proper source.

For Example-
Plagiarism is presenting someone else’s work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form, is covered under this definition.
