I started my SteemIt account and at first it was a little confusing as there were a bunch of 'keys' with random letters all jumbled up. Then, as I paid attention to the instructions and began looking closely, I realized that we have separate passwords for each usage of Steem.
Not only did I download the PDF file immediately, but I also made sure I understand what each key does. I highly recommend every newcomer to read and understand what each key does and not skip it off like the cut-scenes of a boring video game.
I have kept multiple copies of my master password, both in my laptop and on my iPhone, just in case one of the devices decides to stop working. It'd be funny if both of them broke together but the chances are really low though.
I didn't know how to transfer Steem tokens to others, but then I tried powering up my $0.02 worth Steem (I mean of course, it'd be in decimals as I just started) and I got curious when I saw the advanced option. That's where I found out that we can transfer it to other accounts as well.
