Today I am so much happy that my Achievement 2 has been verified and now I am on my new task which is content etiquette Achievement 3. I will do my best to offer explanations concerning plagiarism, types and how to avoid.

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?

Piagiarism is the process of presenting someone's work or piece of artistic work as its own without any reference to the real owner.....
It is an act os stealing, because the work has been used without the concent of the real owner.
All published and unpublished material,
whether printed or electronic form, is covered under this definition. Plagiarism may be reckless.

TYPES OF PLAGIARISM

There are so many types of plagiarism.
Listed below are few among the numerous types.

Complete plagiarism:
This type of plagiarism a person completely copies someone work such as, research paper, article, story, news, project work etc.

Verbatim:
This type of plagiarism is called direct plagiarism.

Self plagiarism:
This is the duplication of someone's work, it is also known as auto-plagiarism. It occurs when someone copies his already published work and uses as a new work. This form of plagiarism is commonly found in research journals.

Source based plagiarism:
This exist when a wrong reference is provided for a work.
When a reference that does not exist is been provided for a work. It is an act of stealing.

Accidental plagiarism:
This is as a result of lacy of knowledge, about how to cite or paraphrase a work. The best way is to allow the work be as. It was.

WAYS OF AVOIDING PLAGIARISM.

• Build your own ideas and taught and use them in your own work

• Always give credit to people for using their work.

• Increase the body of your knowledge.

• Use plagiarism checker tools.

• Always include correct references in your work.

• Be educated
