Achievement 1: Introducing myself on Steemit / Logro 1: Presentandome en Steemit [Eng / Esp].

Hello Newcomers Community, my name is Nelson Barrios, and I was born in the city of Caracas in Venezuela 56 years ago, I was a student of primary and high school in a Catholic school where I took more than one surprise. Upon graduating from high school I tried to enter the Naval School of Venezuela, believing that this would solve many family problems, but before the firm refusal of my mother, I studied the career of Business Administration, (which I do not regret), my perseverance in the study led me to obtain a specialization in the area of Finance.

Hola Comunidad Newcomers, mi nombre es Nelson Barrios, y nací en la ciudad de Caracas en Venezuela ya hace 56 años, fui estudiante de primaria y bachillerato en un colegio católico en donde me lleve más de una sorpresa . al graduarme de bachiller intente ingresar en la Escuela Naval de Venezuela, creyendo que así solucionaría muchos problemas familiares, pero ante la firme negativa de mi madre, estudie la carrera de Administración de Empresas, (cosa de la cual no me arrepiento), mi constancia en el estudio me llevo a obtener una Especialización en el Área de Finanzas.

Throughout my life I have worked as an accounting assistant in a supermarket chain, I supervised in an insurance company the supplies and spare parts to be placed in vehicles when an automobile accident occurred, and in banking I have worked as a credit analyst of all kinds, supervisor of automotive loans, business officer, and manager of consumer credit department.

Once out of banking I worked as an auditor, college administrator and even as a cashier in an amusement park. Currently I work in a financial company that supports micro-entrepreneurs in their projects, which allows me to evaluate their financial position and the feasibility of granting loans.

A lo largo de mi vida he trabajado como auxiliar de contabilidad en una cadena de supermercados, supervise en una compañía de seguros de los suministros y repuestos a colocar en los vehículos cuando ocurría un siniestro automotriz, y en la banca me he desempeñado como analista de créditos de todo tipo, supervisor de créditos automotrices, oficial de negocios, y gerente de departamento de créditos al consumo.

Una vez fuera de la banca realice labores de auditor, administrador de un colegio universitario y hasta fui cajero en un parque de diversiones. Actualmente trabajo en una empresa financiera que apoya en sus proyectos a microempresarios, lo que me permite evaluar su posición financiera y la factibilidad del otorgamiento de préstamos.

I am the son of a single mother, abandoned by her husband, and from a very early age, I was fond of movies and television, I spent hours watching movies in the living room of my house, and even while others slept, I got up at dawn to watch horror movies. My mother took me to the movies a lot, I think I had an overdose of Disney movies.

As a teenager I would escape alone to the movies and I began to model my tastes towards other types of movies that were not from the house of the mouse.

Soy hijo de una madre soltera, abandonada por su esposo, y desde muy temprana edad, me aficione al cine y la televisión pasaba horas viendo películas en la sala de mi casa, e incluso mientras los demás dormían, yo me levantaba de madrugada a ver películas de terror. Mi madre me llevaba mucho al cine, creo que tuve una sobredosis de películas de Disney.

Ya de adolescente me escapaba solo al cine y fui modelando mis gustos hacia otro tipo de películas que no fueran de la casa del ratón.

My grandmother, my mother and my aunts listened to a lot of music, especially Latin American, salsa and boleros, I remember that in the living room next to the TV there was a big record player or as they called it then Pick Up. Suddenly I opened the cabinet that was built into the device and saw an intrusive record, a somewhat strange anomaly between boleros and salsa, it was a record called Led Zeppelin IV, I put the LP on the turntable, and the music I heard began to define my taste for rock, without setting aside salsa or boleros.

Mi abuela, mi madre y mis tías escuchaban mucha música, en especial latinoamericana, salsa y boleros, recuerdo que en la sala al lado del televisor había un gran tocadiscos o como lo llamaban entonces Pick Up. De repente abrí el gabinete que tenía incorporado el aparato y vi un disco intruso, una anomalía algo extraño entre los boleros y la salsa, era un disco llamado Led Zeppelin IV, puse el LP en el tocadiscos, y la música que escuche comenzó a definir mi gusto por el rock, sin hacer de una lado la salsa o los boleros.

I am a diehard movie buff and own an interesting collection of movies and series. Despite living in a digital era, I am still attached to books, I enjoy a good library where books on administration, accounting and finance stand out.

Soy un cinéfilo acérrimo y poseo una interesante colección de películas, y series. A pesar de estar viviendo en una era digital, aún estoy apegado a los libros, disfruto de una buena biblioteca en donde destacan libros de administración, contabilidad y finanzas.

I am happily married, and I am the father of a student about to graduate with a degree in Audiovisual Sciences, my spouse is a specialist in the areas of Planning and Budgeting.

On the Steemit platform I am eager to share my experiences, my music, and my passion for filmmaking. I wish to make community, acquire broader knowledge related to the world of cryptocurrencies and if possible transmit my financial knowledge to other people in an enjoyable and simple way.

I wish to participate in the dynamics established by the communities, comment on the publications of others and for sure I know that I will grow with my partners in Steemit.

I believe in the best of people, in the capacity that we all have to face problems and adversities, I believe that we can make mistakes and correct our mistakes. I don't like bullying or harassment, nor abuse towards others.

Estoy felizmente casado, y soy padre de una estudiante próxima a graduarse como Licenciada en Ciencias Audiovisuales, mi cónyuge es especialista en las áreas de Planificación y Presupuesto.

En la plataforma Steemit estoy ansioso por compartir mis experiencias, mi música, y mi pasión por el cine. Deseo hacer comunidad, adquirir conocimientos más amplios relacionados con el mundo de las criptomonedas y de ser posible transmitir mis conocimientos financieros a otras personas de manera amena y sencilla.

Deseo participar en las dinámicas que establezcan las comunidades, comentar las publicaciones de otros y de seguro sé que creceré con mi compañeros en Steemit.

Creo en lo mejor de las personas, en la capacidad que todos tenemos para enfrentar problemas y adversidades, creo que nos podemos equivocar y corregir nuestros errores. No me gusta el acoso o el bullying, ni el abuso hacia otros.
