PLAGIARISM

It is the practice of appropriating another person's ideas or works without that person's consent or knowledge. On the internet, plagiarism is most often committed. People plagiarize other people's writing, images, articles, and other works.

Because the owner is uninformed and has not granted permission, plagiarism is essentially theft. Like many other websites, Steemit has a stringent policy against plagiarism. It goes without saying that doing so has effects.For instance,
Claiming authorship of someone else's work while really having written it.

Plagiarism Types

Four groups can be used to categorize plagiarism. Here are some of them:

Direct plagiarism
Without using quote marks or the owner's knowledge, the plagiarist duplicates the work or article of another person "word for word."

Accidental plagiarism
When someone uses someone else's ideas without properly citing the author, it is known as accidental plagiarism.

Self plagiarism
Self plagiarism occurs when someone copies their own work and submits it more than once. The owner of this plagiarism can not prosecute himself, hence there is a smaller punishment for it.

Mosaic plagiarism
Mosaic plagiarism is the practice of taking another person's ideas and modifying them slightly to make them appear unique.

Reasons why people plagiarize

How To Avoid Plagiarism

1. Citation
Directing readers to a source that you consulted in your work is known as citing that source. As a result, readers are informed that you borrowed the idea for your blog from a wide range of sources.
