How are you all? Hope everybody is doing well. I am also very well by the grace of Allah. Today I am going to post my Achievement 3 which is based on the Content Etiquettee. So let's get started.

The issue of plagiarism is actually very applicable to writing. Plagiarism is when you pass someone else's writing as your own or change it slightly and pass it off as your own. Someone has written or published your writing somewhere in the past and when you continue to write it as your own completely or partially, it falls under the category of plagiarism and is a serious crime. If you want to write in your own language after being inspired by a text, then more than 90 percent of the text must be your own and you can take 10% of the text from others and that too within some rules and principles, that is, by providing appropriate sources.

There are many types of plagiarism. For example: self plagiarism, direct plagiarism, accidental plagiarism, Paraphrasing etc.

Self-plagiarism: Self-plagiarism means if someone copies his previous work exactly and uses it in a new project without taking the instructor's permission, then it is called self-plagiarism.

Direct plagiarism: Direct plagiarism refers to copying someone's document word for word.

Accidental plagiarism: This means that if by mistake a document taken from a resource is used in its post, the site resource of that document is not given, then it will fall under this plagiarism.

Paraphrasing: This means if you change some words from someone's document and continue with your own or continue the words of the document a bit earlier then it will come under Paraphrasing.

Plagiarism is not right. Plagiarism destroys your reputation. Besides, it is a kind of crime as well as immorality. Plagiarism doesn't get you far. There is value in whatever can be created with one's own creativity. But plagiarism does not allow one's creativity to flourish. So we all should refrain from this heinous act.

▪️ The first thing to do to avoid plagiarism is to not copy paste from any document written by others.

▪️ If you need anything to make your document qualitative, use proper cite resources and quotation marks.

▪️ You can't change someone else's writing and continue it as your own.

▪️ Use your creativity to create documents or posts.

▪️ If you need to use someone else's writing, you must mention him and give him credit.

▪️ Before submitting the post should be checked with plagiarism checker.
