Hi friends, i pray that you all are safe and sound . This is my achievement 3 and today i talk about Content Etiquette. Before posting on steemit you have to know that how much original content is important. On the platform of steemit you have to post anything on your mind that not any other's person activity. Use your own thoughts and knowledge to write any post. If your content is copied, it is very harmful. For a fair posting you have firm knowledge of plagiarism.

Plagiarism is stealing of other's work and represent it with people as his own work. It is considered a bad thing. Because people want to get attention of what that have not done. This is injustice with that people who work hard for his research.
There are different types of plagiarism.

Complete Plagiarism

If a person steals research or post of a person and use his name as writer and submit it or share with people is called complete plagiarism.

Self Plagiarism

Self plagiarism occur when a person use his own important data that he used in his previous work and now he use that work in any other work without attribution is called self plagiarism.

Paraphrasing plagiarism

Is a person uses others data and done some minor changes to it and use as his own is called Paraphrasing plagiarism.

Direct Plagiarism

If a person copy someone else's data word to word but on other page is called direct plagiarism. This is little bit same as complete plagiarism.

How to avoid plagiarism

To avoid plagiarism 1st of all, we should use our own work. Or we should give citation our copied work.

Citation

If we use someone else's work in our data or work or post we should cite that data. It mean we should provide source of that data. This is a way we should avoid plagiarism or it provides reader more information about his topic. He can get other related information.
There are different ways to cite a sentences.

For Example,

Now i post a picture and give source with that picture, if you click on the source you to direct to that picture.

Or if you copy/paste a sentence you put quotation marks around them and give source.

Example,

"All I could think of was that the teachers must've found the illegal stash of candy I'd been selling out of my dorms room. Or maybe they'd realized I got my Essay on Tom Sawyer from the Internet without ever reading the book and now they were going to take away my grade. Or worse, they were going to make me read the book."

If you type a line that you read from the somewhere you write it and give source.

Example,

Is tha painter a plagiarist because he set his palette to nature?
