Love The Country, Through Eco-Friendly Shopping Bags

A few months ago, we were shocked by the discovery of plastic waste in the mouth of a whale that died stranding by swallowing nearly 6 kilograms of plastic waste in the waters of the Wakatobi beach. After that, a video circulated of a visitor dumping a plastic bottle in the hippo's mouth.

Regarding plastic waste, environmental activists, environmentalists, and other communities have been trying to reduce plastic waste that has the potential to become a polluter in this country.

I and the Community Today Ready to Build (KSM) took part in distributing free eco-friendly shopping bags at the Ridayah park, the red light of Lhokseumawe City.

This activity is a KSM program to inform the public that we must reduce the use of plastic waste that is difficult to recycle. It is indeed difficult for all of us to suddenly stop using plastic bags. But at least awareness of reducing the use of plastic can be done. This is a form of love for this country, if we don't care, who will!

Before carrying out the action of distributing environmentally friendly shopping bags, @guski held a coordination meeting to determine who these shopping bags were given to, he said "our target is mothers who ride motorbikes because they often use plastic bags for shopping at malls, supermarkets and markets. so they are the main target said @guski. Continued abg @ponpase adding "we have to share the task of who distributes, who publishes so that it is directed and right on target, and before carrying out activities we pray that what we are doing will be blessed by the almighty" he said.

This activity was very much supported by motorcyclists, they said that the deck should just be sold, so that we don't use the plastic bags anymore, so there won't be a lot of trash. Hopefully this activity can inspire young people to care about the impact of plastic bags. Because the process of destroying plastic bags can take 20 to 1,000 years to decompose. It is very harmful to the environment.

The thing I'm thinking about today is how we can do good by doing small and continuous actions for the awareness process for us, and for many people. Because actually the goodness that we plant will always be remembered until the end of the story of life.
