Myself Studying the SDGs in detail

The development of our community depends on us all and how we pick up the challenge will definitely affect the future generations by 100%. Every man has a unique aspect of them which we all must fully exploit. We are blocked at some point in society goals because some persons feel they don't have have what it takes to be of help.

Well we must all understand that our various complexities are needed to break down community complexes.

I am a dancer in Bamenda Cameroon and the founder of a Dance Movement, Dance for Development, D4D. D4D is aimed at using dance for community development. Using dance to advocate for societal ills, train other young persons to get involved in the entire process. Arts as a is something that can entice anyone especially when it is well delivered. Dancers Musicians, Painters, Models, Actors amongst others need to get involved in preaching the SDGs. People see artists as some special people.
  • Imagine a renowed artist singing about the SDGs.
  • Imagine Tyler Perry directing a short film ln the SDGs
  • Imagine Davinci ever made a painting of the SDGs
  • Imagine Chadwick Boseman acting abiut the SDGs
Well we can only imagine of these and hope for the better. Their fan bases are all so enormous and with their high influential power, we are sure the world will get to know about the SDGs. At its finest, arts can raise the death what more of passing a message across.

At my organization we have taken the SDGs as part of our daily guides wherein all our projects have atleast a goal attached. The fact that dance is non-verbal communication, an accepted form of expression and social interaction, make it truly unique among activities involving movement of the body.

Most people have, at one time or another, moved to music, combining creativity and athleticism to convey their personal message to others. In itself if promotes aleady the third goal Good Health and Well-Being as a form of sports and body relaxation.

We recently commemorated the the WORLD HUMANITARIAN DAY of 19th August which is an aspect of the 17th goal Partnership for the Goals.. On this day, we thought dance to various humanitarian organizations present. A way for them all to collaborate and act together and certainly better.

In summary it is Dance for the SDGs

Organizing such projects requires much funding which some artists lack, this could be seen as a major challenge why artists don't get involved but its never little to do. Exactly why collaborations exists, lets bring our little tk thr table and we shall all see the whole formed Take it or live it we are all artists. Lets all go a little deep in us and find that special force and put it into use.
