For this session, I decided to base it on the classic NES game: Wizards & Warriors

This made the prompt really easy. It's verbatim to what is written in the original game manual:

You are Kuros, the only knight warrior brave enough to enter the woods of Elrond. Strong enough to wield the Brightsword. Powerful enough to ward off the demons, the undead, and the caverns of fire. And clever enough to discover where Malkil has hidden his prisoner.

I also adapted part of a play-through from the second stage of the game.

As result, I had a somewhat rigid narrative that the AI sprinkled detail on, which I think worked really well. But I wouldn't completely ignore what the AI added. I'd try to incorporate it if I could.

The voice is soft and sweet and it fills your heart with joy as you turn around and see a young girl with long hair standing before you with a smile on her face and a bright smile on her face that lights up your soul.

Her name is Lucinda, and you just rescued her from the demon skull in the old forest. It is now time to make your way to the ice caverns.

"Lucinda, I'm glad you're here, but we have work here first." You say as you lead Lucinda into a nearby clearing. "I know, I know." She says as she begins running towards some rocks. "Okay, okay, calm down."

Bidding farewell to Lucinda, you exit the hollowed roots of the old forest by fall to a large frozen cavern from a door in the ceiling.

You are in an enormous cave that stretches for miles. The cave itself is made of ice that seems almost solid. The walls are covered in stalactites and stalagmites that seem almost solid. The floor of this cave is covered in ice that seems almost solid.

You get up and start by walking until you come to a platform with a Blue Chest.

You walk over to the platform, which has two doors on it. One of them opens into an even larger room, which you can't quite see due to its darkness. There are three pillars holding up the ceiling of this room, but they are all broken, one of them being completely missing.

Using the Boots of Force, you open the chest up for some Gems.

You grab at one of the broken pillars and you feel it give way. You grab at another pillar and you feel it give way. You grab at yet another pillar and you feel it give way. You grab at yet another pillar and you feel it give way...

You start climbing the ledges upward, and you shortly come across the BLUE KEY.

You pick up the key, which is made out of a blue crystal. It feels very cool to your hands as you hold it in your hand.

Then, you drop down the ledges, picking up the Gems as you come across them.

You quickly drop down to a ledge that has several small ledges that have several small gems on them. As you go through these ledges, you find yourself coming across more gems. "This place is huge!"

You keep heading down the ledges until you come to another Blue Chest with Gems in it. From here, you jump up a few platforms and keep moving.

"This place is huge!" You say as you jump to a higher ledge and find yourself in a large chamber with many smaller chambers all around it. In each chamber, there are many small rooms connected to each other by corridors. Some of these rooms have doors, but most don't.

This takes you to a long platform with a Blue Potion.

You look around and notice that there are many different types of potions on the ground, but none of them seem to be poisonous or harmful to drink. You look at the wall behind you and notice that there is a large blue potion sitting on top of it.

There is another Blue Chest, this one holding the POTION OF LEVITATION.

The POTION OF LEVITATION is an incredibly useful item, allowing you to float at will.

Take the POTION OF LEVITATION from the Blue Chest.

You take the POTION OF LEVITATION from the chest and float upwards. "I'm floating away! I'm floating away!

As you float, you come to a U-shaped area with a Pink Potion in the center of the cavern.

Grabbing the Pink Potion you float over the gaps and into one of the two doors above. Here you find the RED KEY.

You grab the Pink Potion and float over to the door above you. As you do so, you hear voices. They sound very familiar... The voices are those of your parents. They are talking about something that happened to them when they were children.

In the other door, you find a Red Chest, which will contain the Shield of Protection and an area with lots of Meat and another Red Chest with Gems.

You enter the room and open up the chest. Inside, you find a Shield of Protection and an area with lots of Meat. There is also another Red Chest in front of you, containing Gems. The next room has three doors, two on either side.

Now you are done treasure hunting and decide to float all the way down until you find solid ground again, then follow the Gem trail right until you see a small gap in the floor.

You follow your Gem trail down to where you can see a small gap in the floor. As you do so, you hear voices. They sound very familiar... The voices are those of your parents. They are talking about something that happened to them when they were children.

There is a long hallway with many bats that attack you as you make your way to the other end.

You make your way through a long hallway, as bats attack and try to bite at your legs. Eventually, you reach a dead end. In front of it is a door, which has no handle. "What do we do?" "We wait for nightfall."

After a short wait, a giant Vampire Bat appears.

A giant Vampire Bat appears and attacks. It bites your leg, but fortunately it doesn't kill you. It just makes your leg bleed profusely, which is painful and drains your energy very quickly. After it stops bleeding, it feels as if your energy has been drained as well.

The Vampire Bat is very quick and just as unrelenting as the smaller ones.

After it finishes its work on your leg, it flies off to fly off to fly off to fly off to fly off to fly off...

You throw your dagger at the Vampire Bat as it flies off. It swoops down and flies along the ground right after you.

You throw your dagger at it, but it catches on fire and explodes in a bright flash of light, killing it instantly.

Just as the Vampire Bat is defeated, it turns into six Souls, which now chase after you.

The six Souls that were chasing after you suddenly stop and turn back to normal bats, before they can catch up to you. You run through the cave, but soon realize that there is no more cave in sight.

Although each bat is destroyed with a single blow, they try gang up.

Once they are all defeated, you grab the treasure pile, then say hello to Esmarelda, the second Damsel.
