COVID - 19 -Resurrection- sprays, synthetic enamels and vinyl glue- some considerations from Italy

Here in Italy we are in rather bad shape! Second country in the world by number of infections and hospitals with places for intensive care overflowing.

Tell me what the situation is like in your country?

The world is under siege by a virus that appears to be more democratic than usual, as it has infected many politicians and heads of government.

To de-dramatize or minimize the situation as the world authorities have done so far is ridiculous!
If you trust me I assure you that here in Italy we are in shit up to the neck, I heard about a friend of mine who died in Lombardy, he was 50 years old. I hadn't heard from him in 20 days. He had entered intensive care and disappeared forever. It was fine before!
Here you risk seeing a friend or relative go away on his legs for the last time.

I have two friends, a doctor and a specialized nurse who work 20 hours a day and without having medical aids for all patients.

To my students, who have been locked in the house for 10 days, I only asked if they were fine, and wishing it also for their loved ones.

On the electronic register of my classes I advised them to read Classical Greek art, a model of beauty and culture.

I didn't force them to do homework or whatever, and I just invited them to read a topic, then if they wanted to draw a detail of a Greek temple.
We are inside a tunnel, but we will get out of it soon, we are human and we have the qualities to solve problems.

Now comes the inhuman part.

March 12, 2020 was the worst in the history of the financial markets.

These are the declarations made by the madwoman in the last 4 days:

• "We are ready to do whatever is necessary"
• "We are not here to close the spreads"
• "We cannot take responsibility for individual EU states: everyone must do it for himself"

COVID - 19 is a fucking virus, harmful and deadly just like Ms. Lagarde (ECB) who yesterday evening 12 March makes a crazy statement inviting rationality, "the ECB must not deal with the spread".

It has brought down European markets by 20%.

Today contrary statements, with a nice reverse, and again the stock markets jump to + 20% I have no words and I refuse to comment.

I leave you with my symbolic painting. I am very lucky because to go to my studio I have to travel only 100 meters and therefore no cars. Unfortunately many friends in the cities are stuck in the house and if they are forced to take their car I must have a permit with self-certification, otherwise they risk a fine and a criminal complaint.

Guys, we are undergoing a tough test, I hope this situation evolves positively and in a short time.
We know that many teams of researchers are working on a vaccine, but it will still take months to test it on humans.
In the meantime, we find our affections, strengthen friendships and weave solidarity networks.
We will all need it from now to a few months. Stay home and avoid direct contact.

Boris Johnson avverte "molte più famiglie stanno per perdere i propri cari" - abituatevi!

Ehi amici come state?

Qui in Italia siamo messi piuttosto male! Secondo paese al mondo per numero di contagi e ospedali con i posti per la terapia intensiva strapieni.

Raccontatemi come è la situazione nel vostro Paese o nella vostra città?

Fatevi vivi!

Il mondo è sotto assedio da un virus che risulta essere più democratico del solito, visto che ha contagiato molti politici e capi di governo.

Sdrammatizzare o minimizzare la situazione come hanno fatto finora le autorità mondiali è ridicolo!
Se vi fidate di me vi assicuro che qui in Italia siamo nella merda fino al collo, ho avuto notizia di un mio amico morto in Lombardia, aveva 50 anni.
Non avevo più sue notizie da 20 giorni. Era entrato in terapia intensiva ed è sparito per sempre. Stava benissimo prima.
Qui rischi di vedere andare via un amico o parente sulle sue gambe per l'ultima volta.
Ho due amici, un medico e un infermiere specializzato che lavorano 20 ore al giorno e sono senza presidi medici ordinari.

Ai miei studenti, chiusi in casa da 10 giorni ho chiesto soltanto se stavano bene, e augurandomelo anche per i loro cari.

Sul registro elettronico delle mie classi ho consigliato loro di leggere l'arte Greca Classica, modello di bellezza e cultura.

Non li ho obbligati a fare compiti o quant'altro, e li ho solo invitati a leggere un argomento, poi se avessero avuto voglia per disegnare un particolare di un tempio greco.
Siamo dentro un tunnel, ma ne usciremo presto, siamo umani e abbiamo le qualità per risolvere i problemi.

Adesso arriva la parte disumana.

Il 12 marzo del 2020 è stato il peggiore della storia dei mercati finanziari.

Queste le dichiarazioni rilasciate dalla pazza negli ultimi 4 giorni:

• “Siamo pronti a fare tutto quello che è necessario”
• “Non siamo qui a chiudere gli spread”
• “Non possiamo prendere le responsabilità dei singoli stati Ue: ognuno deve fare per sé”

COVID - 19 è un cazzo di virus, dannoso e mortale proprio come la signora Lagarde (BCE) che ieri sera 12 marzo rilascia una dichiarazione pazzesca invitando alla razionalità, "la Bce non si deve occupare dello spread".

Ha fatto crollare i mercati europei del 20%.

Oggi dichiarazioni contrarie, con una bella retromarcia, e di nuovo i mercati azionari schizzano a +20% non ho parole e mi rifuto di commentare.

Vi lascio con un mio dipinto simbolico. Io sono molto fortunato perchè per andare al mio studio devo percorrere soltanto 100 metri e quindi niente auto. Purtroppo molti amici nelle città sono bloccati in casa e se sono costretti a prendere la loro auto devo avere un permesso con autocertificazione, altrimenti rischiano una multa e una denuncia penale.

Ragazzi siamo sottoposti ad una dura prova, spero che questa situazione si evolva positivamente e in tempi brevi.
Sappiamo che molte equipe di ricercatori stanno lavorando ad un vaccino, ma ci vorranno comunque mesi per testarlo sugli esseri umani.
Nel frattempo ritroviamo i nostri affetti, rinforziamo le amicizie e tessiamo reti di solidarietà.

Ne avremo tutti bisogno da ora a qualche mese e senza perderne per strada il valore. State a casa ed evitate contatti diretti.
