| As I wrote, yesterday we had snow. It was unexpected, through it's the last days of winter, but it's still winter. Another thing is that snow is no longer as desirable as in the beginning and in the mid of winter, during the winter holidays. Now that the birds are chirping cheerfully, because they hear that spring is coming, we all want the sunshine and warmth, flowering gardens and green grass. And the snow seemed to feel that he was an unwanted guest and went away. As soon as the clouds parted and the sun appeared in the blue sky, the snow melted very quickly, remaining only in the shady corners where sunlight did not reach. P. S. And today is February 29, which happens every 4 years! | Як я вже писала, вчора у нас випав сніг. Він був несподіваним, бо нехай це вже останні дні зими, але це все ще зима. Інша річ, що сніг вже не є такий бажаний, як на початку та всередині зими, під час зимових свят. Зараз, коли вже пташки весело щебечуть, бо чують, що весна близько, нам всім вже хочеться сонечка і тепла, квітучих садів і зеленої трави. І сніг наче відчув, що він небажаний гість і пішов геть. Як тільки хмари розступилися і на блакитному небі з’явилося сонечко, то сніг дуже швидко розтанув, залишившись лише у тінистих куточках, куди не досягли сонячні промені. P.S. А ще сьогодні 29 лютого, яке буває раз на 4 роки! |
The landscape looks magical covered in snow. Where I live in Canada's west coast, the flowers have begun to bloom. Spring is just around the corner!
