What's up, you greasy virgins? This is my first post to Dsound, as apparently I was some sort of troglodyte up until now and didn't even know this platform existed. Someone finally told me about it, so I figured I should probably give this a go as it seems like a better option over something like Youtube at the moment. I previously uploaded a test recording when I was messing with my new amp, and since I got some positive response to that I figured I would do something like this at least once a week. Which leads us to my current post. I figured doing a riff every week from whatever song I feel like choosing would be pretty fun and help me get oriented with recording and learning my amp. So, this week I'm doing an old metalcore track that I popped a fat boner for as a teenager from the band As I Lay Dying. Within the next few weeks I'm gonna sit down and attempt to learn ableton for recording so I can drop the caveman program I'm currently using, audacity. I'm also going to try and learn how to use a drum machine program so I can eventually start uploading my own original music. But, I am a lazy hack so who knows when that will actually happen.
