This is by the far the most beautiful thing I've seen happening to steem in a long time. Alot of people speculate this is because of the upcoming Hive airdrop but I'm still wondering what exactly got the price of steem pumped to over twice its previous price in just less than 24hours.
Its definitely a good thing that steem could rise so sudden to a high price amidst all other crypto, stock market, and health care crash so I cant wait to see more of this. When I imagined the possibilities the hivecoin is about to create, I'm mind blown and just cant get enough of the idea.
Lets keep our fingers crossed and see where this pump leads us to.

I don't understand this 'airdrop' thing. Does it mean that if someone suddenly buys a lot of Steem that when Hive releases it will technically double their money?
Will Hive coin be worth the same amount as Steem to start?

Nobody knows the value of Hive yet..... supply and demand. It could be worth $1000 ...or 1 penny. Whatever someone is willing to pay. Will probably start out matched with Steem .... but look at Steem go. Up 125 %
