Its time to go and it feels good.

What can i say.. We finally arrived at a concrete decision. A big thanks to @blocktrades for putting it so clearly into a post. (We needed that)

I always considered the Hardfork risky business but seeing the determination of the community and of our core developers my fears are quickly dissipating.
What i gathered on Twitter from our community was that they would all be ready to go when the time comes, but were willing to give Justin a chance.
While i understand that some always try to see the good in people, some people are just irredeemable and arent governed by human decency nor do they share our values of freedom and decentralization.

Since far before Justin came to Steem or there were any talks about acquisitions i held the belief that @justinsunsteemit is one of the most scammy and disgusting individuals in crypto on the level of BSVs Craig Wright.
There were so many pointers for that, like faked trading volumes, wash trading, botting to fake user numbers, fake transaction numbers, blatant lies on twitter.
People tend to think that Justin is this big businessman but if wer honest here:

  1. TRON is his biggest success that was probably a stroke of luck due to the market at the time and the fact that people didnt yet pick up on his lying and scammy practices.
  2. He holds the biggest pile of TRX on TRON which if he sells TRX goes down the toilet in price.
  3. Majority of TRX volume is faked and exchanges keep propping it up for a payoff. Ive talked to a few exchanges in this last year about listing STEEM and i have to say that they are the biggest "whores" in the business.

I could have never stayed on a chain ran by him. Even if he was willing to cooperate, which he was not, from the start, i would have probably left. Being associated with such a person would not be good for us no matter the money his YES man claim he has.

STEEMIT.INC aka STINK

For so long Steemit.inc stake has been a looming threat. Not only because of what has happened finally with Justin, but because it also brought in complacency into the community.
Everyone was depending on Steemit.inc to do "everything" because they promised they would.

Why should i spend my money to promote Steem when Steemit.inc ninjamined Steem was there for that purpose?

We are no longer dependent on anyone and if we fail, there will be no one to blame but ourselves.

Its time to spread the word. Its time to create a narrative on twitter that STEEM is leaving Justin.

#RIPsteem

That STEEM is no more. Let him defend that narrative. Reach out to anyone you might know thats in crypto news, reach out to your favorite cryptotuber. Let them know whats going on and make it spicy. Hundreds of people on twitter with real voices trump his TRONbots any day of the week.
We have been trained for this. How many lines of text have each and every one of us written on Steem in these last 4 years?
Theres no one that can match our skill. :)

We are leaving and all that will remain will be a blue logo, a name that sounds too similar to "Steam" and a few maggots feasting on the dead husk.

Once Hive launches, that will truly be our independence day.

The day we free ourselves from tyranny of a small lying Chinese boy.

See you soon. ;)

The hard fork is good news overall, but DPOS still needs to be worked on to prevent this from happening again on Hive. There might not be the ninja mined steemit stake invloved, but J Sun can still buy a shit load of Hive and do the same thing to the new chain unless a fundamental change is made.

DPos needs work but this is a good start. If he buys... price skyrockets.

It's the power of the community. People, when united, can do things others would only dream about!

Hive is the new steem
