I made this post on Jan 27 2019. How different from last winter the winter of 2018/2019 was! We had a proper snowy and cold winter and you could ski. I think I managed to take some good shots that time that capture what the winter before last was all about.
I just came back from cross-country skiing. It was -16 C, calm and sunny as you can see. It was late afternoon when I started and the sun was setting when I finished. I just processed the images to be published in this post.
I was going slowly and had the camera strap around my neck. Lugging around the camera is impractical. My phone has been malfunctioning slightly in recent weeks. I may have to replace it soon. I might want to buy a phone with a much better camera and better camera software to be able to take better quality photos in situations like this.
Any recommendations?
