Hubei just reported a BIG increase and the confirmed cases total is now 60,286 so way up from the 45,204 figure of just 12 hours ago. Oh, nothing at all suspicious about that. 🙄
FWIW, I’d guess that’s still a lowball number.

Yeah, it gets even weirder.
The explanation for this is that they expanded the definition of a "confirmed" case to include those with all the symptoms who have not been tested yet (since they're low on testing kits). This makes you wonder (how many have already died that WOULD have been in this category?"
But it's even better. That change of the definition of a "confirmed" case only applies in Hubei Province. So they openly admit that the definition of "confirmed" is different in different provinces of China.
