Symphony Orchestra RTS

Last night was the RTS Symphony Orchestra in my small town. I must have left, I shouldn't have missed it. They were phenomenal. I didn't paint them as much as I listened to them. Take a look at some of the pictures and read about them below in the post.

About the RTS Symphony Orchestra:

The RTS Symphony Orchestra is one of the most representative orchestral ensembles in Serbia. Founded in 1937, within Radio Belgrade, from the very beginning it had profiled artistic lines of action, aimed at affirming and nurturing national musical heritage, as well as capital works of world literature.

Such a program policy, founded by the first conductor, Mihaijlo Vukdragović, has been retained during more than seven decades of performing practice, marked by the work of chief conductors Mladen Jagust, Vanco Cavdarski and Bojan Sudjic, which since 2005 to the present its artistic director.

Throughout history, cooperation with the orchestra has been achieved by the most prominent local and foreign artists, soloists and conductors. He has performed at all major festivals in Yugoslavia and Serbia, and has made successful tours of Europe and Africa. The Audio Archive of Radio Belgrade has permanently archived hundreds of recordings, many of which have been released on several dozen sound carriers.

For his great success in the cultural and artistic mission, and in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of his founding, together with his chief conductor Bojan Sudic, the RTS Symphony Orchestra was awarded the "Extraordinary Golden Beacon" in 2008. He is also the recipient of the annual Music Classical Award for Best Orchestra Ensemble for 2013.

The RTS Symphony Orchestra is today a modern ensemble, operating within the framework of the RTS Music Production, and follows the world tendencies in the interpretation of music. His repertoire includes significant symphonic, concert and vocal-instrumental works of domestic and foreign literature.

In his history, he has premiered many works by prominent contemporary local creators of different generations, some of whom are dedicated to him. The program also features opera and operetta literature, as well as music from popular genres. He is actively present on the concert floors, in the media and within significant social events, positioning himself as a prestigious performing apparatus ready for the highest artistic reach.
