The Crew sneaked through without much echo, which is strange because the game in my opinion is better than its similar Test Drive Unlimited 2 or Driver: San Francisko or some parts of Need For Speed.
The first moments in the game introduce us to the whole story where as a result of various events we are accused of murdering our brother and end up in prison. We are helped out of prison by an agent who, in exchange for freedom, makes us join the 510 gang whose leader is the actual killer of our brother.
The whole story consists of a mission in the form of races . In some people we have to reach the finish line, in others we fight against time or race other drivers and sometimes we have to run away from the police.
Nothing revealing, but thanks to cut-scenes it has its atmosphere.
Of course, in addition to the mission, we have a lot of side races in which we make money, and so the search for parts for unique cars hidden on the entire map, radars - which give us information about a given cut-scenes and viewpoints, which are hundreds and are virtual equivalents of real places in the USA.
As far as the garage is concerned we do not have too many models of cars here. Around 43 cars, plus a coupleteen motorcycles and special vehicles like the Thracian Monster. A small number of cars is compensated for by tuning . We have hundreds of parts for visual and mechanical tuning here, which gives us many opportunities to customize the cars to your taste.
The control itself is very dexterity, so fans of racing simulators will be rather disappointed. We can feel the differences in driving different types of vehicles, but we have the feeling of 'floating' and fussiness especially at very high speeds.
Two things, however, distinguish this game from other similar ones. The first is the big map, which is a reflection of the United States. According to the creators, it has 5000 square kilometers and it will take us about two hours to drive it from one end to the other. It is divided into states, we have all known cities. What's important is that we are not only limited by the roads, there is nothing to stop us from crossing meadows and forests - the world is fully open.
Second . Multiplayer implemented in a single . Apart from us on our map there are also other players who do their thing. This allows us to do races with other players, merge into factions - which gives additional benefits in the form of daily missions and prizes. The system is non-invasive - we can ride with others, but if we don't want to, nobody will force us to.
Everything is great, and what are the disadvantages? Decreases in animation are felt and visible to the naked eye very sporadically, especially in large cities, where a lot is happening. Some people complain about uneven graphics, but in my opinion it doesn't matter much, because if you drive a car 200 per hour you won't see that the hurdle by the house has poor texture or other such.
You can download The Crew for free on UPlay (Ubisoft) . But is it worth it? It is worth it because it is a very good game, for hundreds of hours.

Bardzo fajna gra wyścigowa. Dużo spędziłem w niej czasu zarówno na PS4 jak i na PC. Można powiedzieć, że to taki ubisoftowy "Need For Speed". Próbowałem też zagrać w część drugą, ale już tak mi się nie podobała.

My issue with car racing games is that they're basically all the same thing. I'm looking for something extra like in Death Race or Twistedmetal

I will agree that racing games are mostly all the same, if you want some action and destruction look at Robot Rage
