¡Hola y buen día a todos! ¿Cómo han estado? Espero que estén pasando un bonito martes de Carnaval con sus seres queridos y que se estén divirtiendo mucho. El día de hoy quiero compartirles la última parte de esta miniserie de posts sobre la visita a una exposición que se lleva a cabo en un centro cultural de mi ciudad.
Esta vez nos iremos a la última sala, en donde se encuentran los últimos cuatro conjuntos de la exposición. En el primer conjunto nos encontramos con algunos trabajos de litograbado, una de las áreas de especialidad de Matisse.
Hello and good day, everyone! How have you been? I hope you are having a nice Mardi Grass Tuesday with your loved ones and having a lot of fun. Today I want to share the last part of this miniseries of posts about visiting an exhibition that takes place in a cultural center in my city.
This time we're going to the last hall, where the last four sets of the exhibition are located. In the first set we find some works in lithography, one of Matisse's areas of specialty.>/div>

En cuanto al segundo conjunto, éste está compuesto de los distintos collages elaborados para la revista Verve, del mecenas, editor y crítico de arte Efstrathios Eleftariades, o Tériade, como podrán ver en las siguientes imágenes:

El tercer conjunto es una serie de obras enfocadas en el Medievalismo, un movimiento de resistencia cultural durante la ocupación nazi de Francia. Para ello, el autor toma algunos de los poemas más emblemáticos de Charles de Valois, duque de Orléans, para copiarlos y enmarcarlos, tal y como podemos observar en la siguiente imagen:
The third set is a series of artworks focused on Medievalism, a cultural resistance movement during the Nazi occupation of France. To do this, the author takes some of the most emblematic poems by Charles de Valois, Duke of Orléans, to copy and frame them, as we can see in the following image:
Algunos de los poemas de Charles de Valois, duque de Orléans / Some of the poems by Charles of Valois, Duke of Orléans.El último conjunto de la exposición es la serie Lettres de la religieuse portugaise (Cartas de la Religiosa Portuguesa, o Cartas Portuguesas), una obra epistolar escrita por Mariana Alcoforado, monja portuguesa del siglo XVII, a la cual Matisse adaptó de forma libre mediante retratos y dibujos.
The last set of the exhibition is the series Lettres de la religieuse portugaise (Letters of the Portuguese Religious, or Portuguese Letters), an epistolary work written by Mariana Alcoforado, 17th century Portuguese nun, to which Matisse freely adapted through portraits and drawings.

Bueno, hasta aquí termina nuestro viaje breve por las obras de Henri Matisse; espero que hayan disfrutado mucho del recorrido.
