In all of my life
l have lived such a strong woman with very many challenges, ups and downfalls ,unloving people ,let me.say fake, people who pretend to love u buh th CTCey dont and always brain watching u inorder to use u and ur blessings. I grew up with my aunties and l started working as a vendor in busega market when l was eight years old,l used to sell carrots ,calling men uncles and women aunties to buy on me,and if l never sold anything there was no food.
I used to sit up on the lorries during the marketing day at night so that l could get some sleep and resting from my aunty.l used to school only in the promotional terms and thats how l got promoted to other classes ,eventhough my dad used to send all my school fees,
my aunty used to say that ,they had to add into the business so that it grows big.when l reacheached my high school my aunties used to plan men for me inorder to get money as another businness of theres .
I tried telling my father buh he could not believe me coz he didnt expect something like that from them ,l could not let that happen to me at all, when l finished my last examinations l decided to run and go back to masaka.l never had the transport to get me home so l decided to go work with my mom in kabowa,my mom had a shop there and was a very big trader ,she got me a job to work as ahouse gal at her friends house in mengo
She never wanted me to leave with her because of her husband. The woman treated me like hell and l reached an extent of admiring the dead.
I struggled with life ,l cant explain all of it though l want to,l started selling cooked rice in kampala old park,l used to cry when ever l rembered my family especially my dad ,asking how to face him because people had told him how his favourite daughter sells cooked rice calling uncles.
Buh through everything l faced, the almighty neverforgot me,luckly a moslem man saw me with an eager of working let me say he saw the effort l used to use and love l had for my work and offered me a big job ,l was so happy and couldnot believe it,.
Every time l look in the mirror
l cant believe that l am the one who used to clean the old women s shits and selling rice in old kampala,l stood by my choice and here l am
not rich but am seeing where am heading,l have alight infront, say never on giving up on ur dreams and always stand by ur decisions and choices..
So sorry that you have been through all this. I am glad that you never lost sight of who wanted to be. May God continue to even take you further even beyond anything you have ever dreamt of.
