Hello Steemians,
I had such a busy day, trying to settle in from yesterday’s movement.
However, I suddenly felt like I should travel to Masaka to check on the Children and my family.My sisters and I got into a taxi to town because we had other errands to run. We then went to Larem Bus Stage along Bombo road, to pick a parcel, filled it in and we took it to Equatorial Mall. We took a stroll, through Arua Park, then I parted ways with my sisters as they were going to shop a few things.
I went to the New Taxi park where I got a coaster to Masaka. In fact I was blessed to have reached on time, the coaster was about to leave. I sat, bought a few snacks from the hawkers and we set off.
There was too much traffic before we left the New Taxi Park, we spent almost thirty minutes before we could leave the park. When we set off, it was such a smooth ride .
However, there was a mother travelling with her baby, seated at the back. The baby seemed not to be at ease, she wanted to move around, touch a few things but the mother could not let her. She spent the better part of the journey crying.
There were a few stop overs especially from traffic, to ensure people were following the standard operating Procedures, fortunately we were allowed to go.
We set off at 15:00hrs and I reached at 18:00hrs.I had not informed the children I was coming, when i reached , they were very excited to see me.
The little one Elizabeth had even changed her name to Alisha 😂😂,.The excitement in the house was too much, I carried them , we spent some good time this evening together . They warned me never to leave them again🤣🤣 .I really have no choice but to leave them and finish up with school.
We prayed together and they went to sleep.
It was a good thing seeing them again.
