MAKING A HANDMADE CUSTOM FACE MASK

Hello everyone:)
The COVID-19 pandemic has been a major hit for this generation because it has brought a huge change in each and everyone’s life. Much as many have looked at the crisis in a negative way because clearly it has Claimed the lives of many, and also the survivors that fought a good fight have testified that it’s not a good experience. It has also brought a positive change in a way that we have learnt to be more creative. Being open minded is the only way to go for survival. The internet has really been a reliable medium where so many have run to for business to survive. Personally this period inspired me to join the stemmit family where I can engage with people and also make some money for a living.
The COVID-19 being highly infectious in nature, it has become imperative to take precautionary measures such wearing face masks. Well today, I just wanted to share some procedures on how we can make a custom face mask.

In this mini project, we can take advantage of the old clothes we have in our closet that we don’t think we shall use again. Instead of doing a way with the old clothes, why not sort out some that have a stretchy material. Yes , we shall definitely use a stretchy material for our mini project. Let’s learn something step by step, after all it does not hurt to try:)
So here’s a few things we shall need for our mini project:

So in our first step, we shall have a hard paper, you can also use a soft paper of you’ll be more careful. We shall first lay our design on paper. So let’s get to it😎

In this next step we shall cut out the pattern of the mask and place it on the material we decide to use. You can put some pins so that you can cut out or you can hold and trace out the pattern to the material.I decided to illustrate this because it can help us attain so many at ago. Or practice more!!

In this next step, we have acquired our pieces ready to be sewed together. So we prepare our needle and thread to do the job.😚
