The diarygame - Betterlife- 29/07/2021: birthday celebration for nephew🤗

Hello steemians!!

Hope you’re all doing good 👍.
Today I happened to be part of my nephew’s birthday celebration. As a family, we observed the standard operation procedures(SOP’s) in order to keep safe.
Times like these have actually showed me that we can actually do life in quite a different way. Forget about the party people, friends, neighbors for any celebration.
A change in mindset is all we need!

So the party was exclusive to family alone. So it was me, the father to my nephew, definitely the mother, three of my younger brothers, the birthday boy and his twin brothers 😊.

This mini party started off really slow with no sign of fun.
So we decided to come up with some activities that would engage the kids.
Face painting!!! Me and my brothers decided to face paint the kids with there favorite comic actors.
It was quite challenging but we had to give it a try. Somehow all of them aspired to have the best mask😂.
But well, we did our part as adults to get them something great👍👍.
We used Acron paint and some brushes for the job to be done!!

The kids were so happy, somehow this face paint activity had a nice touch of joy on them. To them it was a perfect and joyful day🤗.
We had planned to also have some cake for the party. We actually baked it from home!! It was a yummy mint flavored cake🤤.

We had some cake and a few drinks, and the dark hit the day. The evening had come so we decided to gift the birthday boy with his gift. He was super excited!!

Well I must say it is so beautiful to watch a child grow. From the time they were born to a birthday of 4 years. They call it the miracle of life!! We all started from baby steps, amazing right??!
Being part of these boys’ lives has been so touching and quite an interesting experience to be an aunt. I’m sure this experience will help me somewhere in life😂.
