Hello everyone 👋
It was a wonderful experience to Asher one more time at a kennel launch where the main theme was championing dog🐕 breeds standards in Uganda
I woke up so early in the morning so that I could be at the venue which was kitante primary school as early as 7:00am. That day it was raining heavily but to make it on time, I grabbed my raincoat and got a bodaboda that dropped me at the venue .
Immediately, I was given an outfit for the day with my friends which was a white shirt for me, as well as a black cap. Though there were other colors that people had to choose according to their preference. These included grey and black shirts.
I was assigned the duty of registering visitors. This included getting their details about the names, the dog breeds they own , contacts, profession as well as email addresses. I did the job perfectly well as my other colleagues were warmly 😊 welcoming visitors at the gate.
The occasion started Abit late because people were caught up by the rain as well as traffic jam. With time, alot of guests arrived with their dogs.
The most interesting of all was Bella🤭🤭
She fears people alot and likes to be treated like a princess. For her to walk in public is not possible. The owner carries her around 🤣 since she cannot walk on her own.
I also loved the German Shepherd 💕❤️. I got a chance to hold it. It's so unbelievable that she is only six months old😲 yet she looks older than that but it's because of good feeding.
The main speakers of the day all shared good information about how dogs have to be taken care of and the loving and forgiving character they posses. They as well told us about the menstrual cycle of a female dog as well as the good shelter they need to keep in good condition.
This club was formed to bring together all dog breeders in the country. I got to learn the key roles dogs play in the security of not only of individual safety but also in national security. This was clearly said by the commissioner of police Dr. Martin Mugume.
Later on at the end of the launch, I was tasked to register a few members with interest into the club.

Thank you so much. First of all about the dog.... You must have had it right from when it was young to mentor it into anything you want it to be.... Another thing is taking good care of it ,Making sure it gets it's meals, medication when sick. With all that care it will be loyal to it's master
