1. "Pay attention to your teacher and learn all you can"
   As we all know, knowledge is power.

2. " Do not hesitate to displine children. A good spanking won't kill them. As a matter of fact, it may save their lives"
   Of all the wise sayings, I think our African parents got this one cemented in their minds😂😂 after all; you spare the road, you spoil the child.

3. "Son, if you become wise, I will be very happy. I'll be proud when I hear you speaking words of wisdom."
   People have many ambitions; to be rich, to be famous among others but rarely do people have the desire to be wise but God is telling us that being wise is just as important as anything else.

4. "Donot be envious of sinful people; let reverence for the Lord be the corner of your life. If it is, you will have a bright future."
   Instead of spending your time envying people that take pleasure in disobedience of the Lord, why not tune your life to obedience as you build a strong relationship with He that created you...because with God by your side, your future is sorted.

5. "Listen son, be wise and give serious thought to how you live. Don't associate yourself with people who drink too much wine or stuff themselves with food. Drunkards and gluttons will be reduced to poverty. If all you do is eat and sleep, you will soon be reduced to tags."
   In other words, don't spend all your earnings; save for if you don't, poverty will follow you.

6. "Listen to your father because without him, you wouldn't exist. When your mother is old, show her your appreciation by caring for her the way she did for you."
   Respect your parents and don't abadon them when your grown and wealthy. For when you honor your parents, your honoring God.

7. "Pay close attention son, let my life be your example. Prostitutes and immoral women are a deadly trap. They wait for your like robbers and cause many men to be unfaithful."
   Jesus' life on Earth was an example of how we should all be living. For instance, despite Knowing that He was all mighty and high, Jesus still lived a humbled life on earth so pick a leaf.

8. "Show me someone who drinks too much, and I'll show you someone miserable and sorry for himself, always causing trouble and always complaining."
   Self pity shouldn't be apart of who you are because if it is, you will be miserable, you will feel like the world is unfair all the time something goes wrong; you will be a trouble maker and complain about everything like a whinning child.

9. "Don't be envious of evil people and don't try to make friends with them. Causing trouble is all they ever think about. Everytime they open their mouth, someone is going to get hurt."
   Be very careful of the people you associate your with. If you are always moving with trouble makers, your bound to follow in their footsteps eventually.

10. "Homes are built on the foundation of wisdom and understanding. Where there is knowledge, the rooms are vanished with valuable and beautiful things."
    Treasure knowledge and seek it for knowledge is power.
