Today marks the end of Week 1, post lockdown and I should say it hasn't been anything I had imagined. The week kicked off with rainy weather here and there, but that did not stop Ugandans from moving up and down the city center. Work sheenanigans started off as early as 7am on Monday morning, and you could tell everyone was glad to be able to move around and get back to work. Atleast I know I was
Work on the other hand involved alot of catching up from where we left off. This meant sitting behind my desk for hours on end reconciling company accounts and making sure we were ready to start operations again.
Fast forward to Friday and operations are moving on smoothly. The weather is unpredictable, traffic jam in the city is at an all time high, and each day's activities have been different from the last.
(P.s I climbed ontop of a building to get a picture of the clouds)
But I hope we're all staying safe and grateful for life as it is. 💕
