In recent years, organizations have taken into account the strategic challenges that must be taken into account in order to adapt to the different technological, social, economic and environmental changes that in one way or another modify and transform consumer habits and the lifestyle of society in general.

In addition to the relationship with the environment or technological, social and economic changes, working conditions such as benefits and considerations arising from the employment contract, among which are safety and hygiene at work, are key elements that must be present in optimal conditions in order to motivate the worker in their daily work, as well as to protect their physical and mental health during and after their entire working period within an organization.

For some experts, for example, according to Sanabria (2010), in addition to social benefits, information policy defines the orientations or guidelines that govern the actions of a person or entity in a given matter or field. Based on this definition, it could be said that an information policy is constituted by those guidelines that govern an organization towards the achievement of the right to information by all the people who are active in it.

In a business organization, both the working conditions and the information policy must contribute to local and/or regional development. There is currently a consensus on the leading role of local development in the face of globalization, which is why there is a need for the decentralization of political decisions, the use of resources and regional comparative advantages.
