My Achievement :Happiness &Social Service.

During the last holiday that I spent around the riverside was a wonderful experience in my life. Few days ago, I was doing a new project on raising awareness among the people to make sure that they have enough consciousness about marrying their female children off to someone in an early age. They were extremely driven by
rural customs and prejudices.Again, those families were endowed with poverty stricken conditions.

I didnt have any busy schedule in the University, so I went back to my village and determined to participate in social service and voluntary work.Covid situation was prevailing everywhere, rural people were busy in doing their household work and farming activities.
Schools were closed due to the pandemic and young learners didnt have least scope to pursue their studious approach.

Lack of education in those areas tend to increase and as a consequent of this created rural prejudices like, early marriage,apathy to education, social backwardness etc.I had a quite few friends who were also supportive towards me. I led them to encourage villagers to stop early marriage and motivated them to work hard so that they could earn more resource to fill their needs.

One day, we were busy in nursing our garden.We heard that a 16 year old girl was becoming a victim of early marriage.
Her family was trying to forcefully marry her off to a local businessman. So,we went to the spot and forbade them to marry her off.I said, it is a great sin to do something forcefully against anyone’s will.

Later on,the family was convinced by our counselling and agreed to stop the marriage. We, from our voluntary effort succeeded in raising enough support to stop this inhuman act. That scenario opened up a new mental attitude in people’s mind.

We were greatly appreciated and welcomed by the local society members and villagers. They thanked us for initiating a great social movement.

The girl who was about to be married off against her will got her life back again. She was a very talented and meritorious girl.
We supported her family so that they could be able to give her enough facility to pursue her dream to become an engineer.
And, she is successfully doing that till now.

I went back home then.A great realisation came to my mind after doing that. I felt that every children from every corner of this earth needs quality education. If we fail to ensure this right, we surely let them grow in an unwelcomed world.

Its a feeling of blessings and greatness.
