Simple Strategies to Closing Deals

It can be very annoying and frustrating when you try to convince clients for hours and at the end of the day the client tells you he is not interested, at such time you may feel like crying or even beating up yourself.

Communication is a skill that needs to be mastered in business, if you want to start your own business or become a sales agent, it is necessary to learn the great act of communication. Closing sales brings happiness and excitement to the heart of an entrepreneurs and sales person, when sales is closed, it helps you believe more in yourself and it even boosts your ability to close more sales.

There is no point in having a good sales presentation without making sales, that only makes you a good presenter, wherever and whenever you have a deal to close, it is your responsibility and duty to close such deals, that is what makes you a good entrepreneur and a good sales agent, closing deals is also the only thing that puts money in your bank account and not your presentation.

In order to win a high percentage of those deals that you are faced with, you need to learn and master certain skills, I will analyse some of those skills in this post:
Customers like to know that you care about them and you have to constantly show that you care if you want to get your product sold, you have to check on their well-being and regularly show that more than selling your product, you are more interested in them. In sales, you have to make your customer feel connected to you by showing a certain degree of empathy.

If you want to makes sales, you have to be able to decipher the pain felt by your customer, every of your customer has a weak point or a need that needs to be meet, your ability to realize those needs will help you gain better clarity on how they should be approached and that means sales will definitely be closed. Closing sales goes beyond trying to make clear your terms and benefits, it is in your ability to make close the gap between where your customers are and what they want to achieve.

It is good to plan before going for a sale, but while planning we should not get overboard with it, understanding customer’s emotions is a more effective strategy to closing deals than following a rehearsed sales script.

I think you make a good point here. We need to plan but very quickly that plan goes off track. We need to great the situation and be flexible. If things are not going well we need to pick up on the customer's emotions and react accordingly. A good plan will give us options. If we can have things ready in our plan that we can offer in different situations then it will make it easier to change tact.
