Greetings to all members of the Education community, today I will be addressing a topic of great interest to countries and that is how education plays an important role in the global economic recovery.
We all know that the pandemic generated by COVID-19 has negatively impacted all the economies of the world, the sectors most affected by this situation have been those that in one way or another require greater social attention. In the Venezuelan case, the hyperinflation that is currently being experienced has grown even more as a result of the lack of production.
The educational sector has undergone a change in its teaching scheme, since it had to move from a system of classroom education to a distance system, this significant change generated an improvisation on the part of those responsible for educational institutes since they do not have the necessary technological tools to address a distance education system and to this is added the deficiency in the internet and electricity services.

This change in the teaching scheme could have had negative consequences on academic results in the short term, especially in those institutions where technological tools are non-existent. In view of this situation, the government's educational authorities must look for short-term alternatives that will continue to prevent the deterioration of education in Venezuela and therefore a drop in academic quality.
It is well known that education plays a fundamental role in the development of countries, which is why the necessary investments must be made to improve the quality of education at all educational levels, since the professional resources that graduate from universities are the ones called to recover the economy of countries, providing valuable scientific knowledge to solve problems in the productive and technological areas, the education system is obviously a fundamental lever in the economic development of any country.
In conclusion, we can infer that the educational systems must undergo a restructuring at all levels, both in basic and university education, this should start from the revision of the curricula and the contents that are taught, to the adoption of new techniques or teaching-learning strategies to increase in the short term the academic quality of professionals who are called to improve the economies of the world.

Greetings friend @carlir, there is no doubt that the Venezuelan educational system was not prepared to go almost entirely to a distance mode, in many institutions as well as for many students internet access is almost nonexistent. It is true that education is necessary for economic reactivation, therefore, if this situation persists, the necessary actions must be taken so that educational programs can be developed at all levels guaranteeing access to virtual education for the entire student population, something that under the current situation of the country is extremely complicated.

I agree with you as I see many students not being able to learn due to the circumstances like no network or no devices to use for that or others who just cheat for marks only and forget about the main reason for education which is knowledge I would say that the education system in many countries already need alternatives otherways the new generation will have a gap in it's educational years where they miss some basics that should have been taken in years like those.
