Greetings to all my dear readers and followers, continuing with my publications in the area of technology today I will share a very interesting news, it is about the launch of the floating offshore wind farm that has just been built and that will provide energy to about 55 thousand homes.

It is no secret that a large percentage of the energy generation that is currently being produced comes from fossil fuels and the use of these fuels generates a large amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) and therefore greenhouse gases that directly affect global warming, which are destroying our planet earth in an accelerated manner. This situation has always attracted the attention of many world leaders, leaders who have proposed plans to reduce the generation of these gases but it only remains in that plans or strategies.

But not everyone thinks the same way and there are always those who truly assume the issue of global warming as an important issue and with great responsibility, such is the recent case of the Scottish town of Aberdeenshire, which recently completed the construction of the world's largest floating offshore wind farm, which will provide clean energy to 55,000 homes in this town in Scotland. This wind farm was built by the company Kincardine Offshore Wind. This wind farm is located 15 kilometers off the southeast coast of Aberdeenshire at a depth of 60 to 80 meters.

This important wind farm has a 2 MW Vestas turbine and five 9.5 MW Vestas turbines. This wind farm has a generation capacity of 48 MW, without a doubt, the implementation of this great project will bring electrical stability to the aforementioned locality, but not only that, it will contribute to the reduction of CO2 and therefore to the reduction of greenhouse gases. The company in charge of this project stated that the construction of this wind farm was a great challenge as they had to overcome many adversities but they were finally able to complete it successfully.

This important project shows the great potential that floating turbines have, making them play a fundamental role in the conservation of the environment. The company states that these turbines will play an increasingly important role in the development of sustainable energies throughout the world. Undoubtedly, these important projects should be implemented by other countries in order to increase the use of clean energies and decrease the energy coming from fossil fuels that affect our ecosystem.

Very interesting project friend @carlir, if only all the governments of the world were dedicated to developing more and more eco-sustainable energy sources, what a wonderful world we could inherit to our future generations.

Unfortunately many times more is invested in destroying than in building things, I hope that the example of Aberdeenshire is copied by many more cities in the world and does not end up as the wind farm that would be built in the Falcón state, in our country and which is now just a park of ruins and a constant memory of the disastrous performance of this government.

Greetings friend @karupanocitizen, very true your comment GOD grant that governments are truly dedicated to this preble to reduce global warming with innovative projects like this wind farm, which undoubtedly help to maintain a balance in our ecosystem.

Wind energy is one of the cleanest in the world, if not the first, and is perhaps little used in our countries, and this news is definitely welcome.
thanks for the news

Greetings @joseph1956, certainly this is one of the cleanest energy that has been developed, how unfortunate that the wind farm that is in Falcon state is not in operation, because it would be of great help to this electricity crisis we are experiencing.

Hello @carlir, I really believe that a type of project of this nature is urgent in Venezuela, I believe that we have a good surface on the sea for great development and on some coasts of the country the direction and speed of the wind are favorable, I think I will dream of this great engineering project for a long time, we have the professionals willing and prepared to work on this, the only thing missing is the "good will of the nation."

Great post friend

Saludoas amiga @tocho2, if this project in our country would work very well and in fact in the peninsula of PAraguana in Falcon state we have a wind farm abondano product of corruption that exists in Venezuela, if that project had culminated today our history would be another in the electricity field.

The transition from fossil fuel as a source of energy to renewable energy is needed as we need to take care of our planet as well. Renewable energy is the best available resource as of now and I think its always good to adopt something that can give better value to us and the planet as well
@tipu curate

Greetings @alokkumar121, certainly we must reduce the use of fossil fuels and opt for projects that generate clean energy to maintain our planet and future generations can enjoy it.

Hello friend, it's a subject I don't know much about, but it's interesting to learn something new. Thanks for passing on that message. Greetings!

Hi @franyeligonzalez, thank you for your comment, I hope you can continue to receive this type of information that is of great relevance to us.

It is always good to know about all the technologies that exist to obtain energy from natural resources that do not pollute the environment. Every time I see this kind of news I think about how my country could take advantage of all these experiences in other countries to do it here in Venezuela. Then I remember that those who are governing are a string of criminals who are only there to steal and well nothing gives me a lot of impotence to know that these guys will not do anything for the progress of this beautiful nation.

I don't know if you read about a technology that uses the waves of the sea to drive a wind turbine.

Greetings friend @lanzjoseg, what a pity that our rulers do not take advantage of all the benefits that our country offers to develop all these alternatives for clean electricity generation. there is the case of the abandoned Falcon wind farm.

It is really amazing that attention is now being shifted from fossil fuel as source of energy to renewable energy. This kind of renewable energy, like the wind-powered energy you talked about, will ultimately lead to more friendly climate and ecosystem.

Solid read. Thanks for sharing buddy

Hi @samminator, certainly this type of clean energy will help to keep our ecosystem more balanced, and decrease its deterioration. But the rulers have no interest in developing this type of project because their oil business is going down.

Hi @carlir

This you mention "the energy generation currently being produced comes from fossil fuels and the use of these fuels generates a large amount of carbon dioxide", is the most anchored activity in our prioritized actions for more than eight decades now, and it gives the impression that no further efforts will be made to counteract this reality.

Initiatives such as this onshore or offshore wind farms, may be part of the solution, but unfortunately everything remains in advertising, since they are not implemented on a large scale in the real search to replace the consumption of fossil fuels.

Best regards, be well.

Greetings friend @lupafilotaxia, if it is very unfortunate that everything remains in advertising, because if only a small interest was applied in wanting to generate this type of clean energy the situation today would be different.

Greetings @ carlir
Initiatives like these should be replicated all over the world, wherever possible.

This will certainly help the environment significantly as you put it "this will contribute to the reduction of CO2 and thus to the reduction of greenhouse gases,

These are signs that there are countries that care about leaving the planet in better conditions for future generations.

In Venezuela a wind farm was created to take advantage of the wind in the Paraguana peninsular, but it happened like many other projects, it never worked and they stole all the electricity,

Thank you very much for sharing your publication

Greetings @dgalan, yes it is very unfortunate that our wind farm located in the Peninsula de PAraguana Falcon State does not work because of the high levels of corruption there, hopefully some mourner has the interest to want to recover such an important project.
