Hi friend, certainly overbalanced drilling has many advantages and disadvantages, and among the disadvantages is the damage to the formation by drilling fluid invasion, which translates into risk factors for future productivity of the well, for that if the reservoir meets the conditions for drilling under the underbalanced technique would be the best option.
