This is the primary and chief agent of socialization for most people, especially in the first five years of their lives. The family provides the child with his or her first social contact with the social world and it is through it that the correct patterns of behavior are internalized and learned. As infants, we completely depend on others to survive. Our parents, who play the parent's rules, are responsible for teaching us to function and care for ourselves. They, along with the rest of our family members, also teach us about close relationships, group life, and how to share resources.
Additionally, they provide us with our fantasy system of values, norms, and belief-a system that is usually a reflection of their social status, religion, ethnic groups, and more. From this point of view, therefore, the family's direct influence on the child's social nature is strongly significant.
However, learning is also done informally and the right (or wrong behavior) is approved (or rejected) through rewards and punishment write from the family. Studies confirm that the family has a very prominent role to play during socialization because it is the only way that allows adjustments that are made when necessary since some strong emotional ties and motivations are fused during such informal learning.
For example, the family, comprising physically of father, mother, and other children is the most contacts that a child begins to have of the world. The first notions of the world let this child Aquarius are directly shaped by the world view of the family. Imagine a child born into a family that begins the day with prayer, the child definitely will imbibe the nation of beginning the day in the same manner or at least having such a notion. On the contrary, a child born into a family which begins today with quarrels will also become inclined to such quarreling tendency.
