I believe it is the most popular of all the hive communities, both because it has proven to be quite profitable, especially for those who picked up the game at the beginning, and because of the gameplay that reveals a good experience when it comes to card duels.
The Beginning of the Journey
My first contact with gaming was through a content creation challenge on the Cos.tv platform, where a video competition related to NFT games was taking place at the time. In this competition, watch a video by creator @brunup who posted videos giving very important tips for those just starting out in the game, such as creating an account on keychain, buying Dec. Basically, splinterlands is my gateway into the hive community. It was also thanks to the cos.tv platform that it was possible to purchase the “spellbook”, to actually be participating in this web 3.0 experience, all of this happened in April 2021. 
At first I came in as curious about this fantastic world of splinterlands, I didn't really catch that big high at the beginning, but luckily for me this wasn't just another "farmer" game, it was a good game to be played well . Everything well structured, skills, types of attacks, types of elements. A game that mixes strategy and luck. As every card game had the same dilemmas: with several cards to choose from, countless strategies to master and a ranking to climb, I had to learn as quickly as possible to better position myself within the game.
Climbing the Ranks
At first, I was limited to a basic set of cards and didn't have much experience putting together an effective deck. I had to learn the mechanics of the game and the use of each skill in the deck, doing this after the game becomes popular is always more difficult. The big challenge was to use the cards strategically.

As I participated in games with other “players” my rating improved, but I was very stuck in the “bronze” league. As I leveled up, I encountered increasingly challenging opponents, forcing me to hone my strategies and tactics. playing half an hour a day, the best I got was the “Silver” league. To do this I had to improve my decks with higher level cards.
The Card Collection
The main part for this game to work is certainly the card collection. Having cards with various rarities was very important, but it was also a challenge for me to acquire, as I didn't have many resources. Each card had its own strategic value, and diversity was essential for facing a variety of opponents.
A light for me was the challenges of the splinterlands community, which allowed me to take my first steps in acquiring good cards. Each new card represented an opportunity to improve your deck and explore unique strategies. As your collection grew, you became more versatile and powerful as a player. So, thanks to these challenges, the formation of legendary cards was possible.

With the market down, my goal is to use part of what I earn in the challenges , to rent better ranked cards, to gain more resources and chests and to be able to collect as many cards as possible each season.
This way I will combine as many cards as possible, to better compete in higher leagues and improve my rewards in both DEC and SPS, which are the rewards in game economy, especially the SPS which has the possibility of staking. And participate in important decisions to improve the game through Dão.

Splinterlands is a dynamic game that constantly evolves. Each season presents us with a challenge of maintaining a good winning margin, as I don't have a good enough deck to compete in the gold league, which is where things make more sense, I focus on the bronze and silver leagues, where I can win good cards. .
