This is definitely going to be a very brief and short post unlike my other contents due to the fact that this post is just all about creating a simple awareness for my welcome. I also appreciate those who checked up on me via my social media handle such as Discod, WhatsApp, telegram. It was really nice hearing from you guys and I definitely hope this message gets to everyone of you.
The Reason Behind My Absence
I firstly apologise for not notifying the community before taking my leave even though it was a decision that needed to be fulfilled rapidly.
It actually began when I got a notification from the immigration service about my passport capturing date. I had to travel down to my friend house for accommodation since I really don't know how long it will take to capture due to the massive crowd that's always available in places like that.
I left Ogun State for Oyo State even though the capturing and registration process was to take place at Osogbo located in Osun State. It was really a very stressful journey though but unfortunately I couldn't have access to the Internet at my friend's place in Ibadan due to the fact that lack good Internet facilities for Glo Network (that's my simcard). I would always have to leave the estate and go elsewhere anytime i was in dire need to access the Internet.
To cut the long story short, my plan was to stay there for at least 3 - 4 weeks but I couldn't just cope without accessing the internet since most of my personal activities are always conducted online. I had to leave after my successful passport registration and capturing which took several days and here I am today 😊.

There's definitely no doubt that i really missed the Internet most especially when it comes to blogging, graphics design and content creation. I also miss the community as a whole and all I can say right now is It's actually feels good to be Back Home after two weeks break without complete access to the Internet 😊.

Welcome back friend, I wonder why getting a passport is so stressful in our country, I have a friend who is trying to work through a scholarship process, she just found out she needs a passport, the problem is the registration will close by march and I am not sure she will be able to get her passport before then, she is so sad about it.

The wahala to obtain passport is just much. How I wish the whole process can be done online by ourselves instead of visiting the immigration unit.

Im glad to have you back on Steemit and in project.hope, however I still need to ask you to slow down a bit with those new publications (3 posts in just a day ... that's quite a lot :P)
The moment I've noticed that picture you've shared and word "immigration service" my heart stopped ... somehow I'm always concerned about immigration more than any other services out there. Probably because those authorities usually do not have any supervision above them and they are untouchable. Worse than any other goverment entities.
Capturing date? What does it even mean? Could you please explain it to me?
ps. I can't imagine how people can still live without access to internet. This is quite ... insane. Life must look so very different in such a areas around the world, where people do not use internet on daily basis.

Exactly buddy!! I think they have their ways of doing things differently when compared to some other government agencies. It's just quite unfortunate that you can't escape them when it comes to getting your passport, capturing or renewing your passport.
Capturing date is the exact date you are expected to visit the immigration office for capturing activities such as taking your pictures, data and thumbprint.
I am always astonished anytime i come across such situation. I really can't cope with such situation probably due to the fact that I'm already addicted to the Internet.
