Today's topic is the IoT (Internet of Things). "The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to a network of physical devices, vehicles, appliances, and other physical objects that are embedded with sensors, software, and network connectivity, allowing them to collect and share data." It consists of four main components: devices, connectivity, data processing, and the user interface.
With the help of IoT, we can do our normal work through our mobile phones and control them from mobile phones. At this time, it is being used a lot in the world, as you may have seen. Tesla's release of the driverless car is also an example of the Internet of Things, along with smart homes in which you control your home's doors with a mobile app and turn on the lights as soon as you enter the room. All of these are perfect examples of the Internet of Things.
The Internet of Things was started in 2000, and with the passage of time, it has been innovated. Now, with the help of the Internet of Things, there are about 13 billion devices connected to the Internet all over the world, and it is estimated that by the end of 2025, about 70 billion devices will be connected to the Internet with the help of the Internet of Things.
Devices: Devices mean those sensors that are used to sense things like temperature, cloud, light, heartbeat, etc.
Connectivity: How devices are connected to the internet and share their data.
Data Processing: In data processing, raw data is converted into useful information.
User Interface: The user interface refers to notifications, signals, or alerts that alarm the user.
Applications: IoT is being used in several fields like healthcare, agriculture, smart houses, gardening, etc.
Advantages: It serves humans in many ways, like reducing manpower and making things faster and more efficient.
