Have You Ever Invested In The Wrong Business? Did you give your money to the wrong person? Did you ignore the scam? Whatever the case, it is hard not to feel remorse. After all you are the one who trusts the investment or the person. You put your faith, your money and your dignity in line. But when it comes down to it, someone took advantage of you. This is usually what happens to my client. Someone I know used the relationship he had with my client and caused my client to lose money he had invested.
Investing is a risky business venture. There is no circling of the truth, and there is no way to control it. There will always be bad people who will cheat others or make money fast for others. I did not plan to write this article but after a discussion with my friend, I decided to write this. There was an employee call Joel, who ran away with my client's money. However, he has been found, and he has made excuses. It is sad that people want to make it "BIG" so quickly and end up endangering relationships built on trust for money.
There was an employee who ran away with my client's money. He also said that on behalf of my client, David went to another farm to give the customer a real-time update, as Joel was not available for a long time, and when he arrived at the farm, he found that the tomatoes had been harvested on the farm without notice. David also decided to harvest corn on the farm, since Joel had not been properly cared for.
After all efforts to reach Joel failed, David continued to harvest corn by using the local people who lived on the farm as laborers. When the harvest season began, a group of local people came forward to prevent David from harvesting corn. The reason is that they have never seen him on the farm, and Joel is not there (actually I commend the locals for this. David told me that when he said this, he laughed in his mind because he had been trying to reach Joel for days, here he was saying that Joel would come to the site the next day.
David was surprised when Joel arrived the next day. As real? We've been trying to find him for days, until he came out because he got a call from someone in the area? I still do not understand why. However, his reason was that his phone was faulty, so he could not answer whenever he missed the call. Remember that I called his excuses “useless” in the first paragraph, which was the way it sounded to me when I heard it. Even a young child can have so many excuses. Evidently, Joel harvested tomatoes a week before the planned harvest, for reasons known to him. But why did he not communicate with the client that? Why deceive a client by trying to stop harvest days after planning a real harvest? And where is the money? An interesting question.
A conference call was made between the client, David and Joel. So the client can hear both sides of the story before making their decision. Joel made the same excuse that his phone was faulty, and this led to his unavailability. He confirmed that he was the one who sold the tomatoes and that he had the money to sell them, at the Bank. Although Joel claims to have sold tomatoes for less than the actual price, the client simply told him not to worry about it and the client let that slip as he was already fed up with the matter.
David and Joel, along with a client, agreed that the withdrawal of funds that Joel said was in the bank would be done the next morning. When he woke up, David approached Joel and asked that they both go to the bank to get some money. It was then that Joel told David that he had spent the money and there was no money in it. David was cut to the heart. He was so angry that Joel could not say a word. Asked why he used the money, Joel said he used it to do business.
After the customer heard about the new development, he told Joel not to worry about paying the bill, and he would leave. My client has lost initial income and limited profit.
My thoughts concerning this
Joel is a bad person, dishonest and bad working habits. She should be grateful that my client is a good person even though they are both acquainted. Also, you make the mistake of deciding to spend money on a customer without first informing him or her, no matter what the circumstances. It is people like Joel who intimidate others living abroad by investing in my country as my client is based in Nigeria.
Good brother
