After days of panicking and wondering what’s happening in my world, why is it happening and worrying about what will happen next, finally I took the courage to stop procrastinating and open my laptop to write about these troubled times.
But are these really troubling times?
As I sip coffee in my balcony, I cannot help but look at nature’s bounty which was somewhere lost behind the walls of pollution and ignorance of the human race. The trees swaying away with the breeze, the melodious chirping of the birds and the warmth of the sun is quite enchanting. Whilst I enjoy the pleasant gifts of nature, I can’t help but wonder how come I didn’t pay attention to these small gifts of nature. We, as humans have made life “A Rat Race”. The hustle and bustle of the urban cities have made it impossible for us to sit down peacefully and focus on ourselves and our families. We all have become ignorant about humanity. It is imperative for us to be responsible during these times. This moment is for showing compassion towards others and towards Mother Earth. Spend time with your families, brush up your skills, enjoy the downtime and follow WHO protocols. Show gratitude and help at every chance you get for as long as our lives are recombined, we can restore and find a better future.
