Greetings, long time no post something here, between personal things and college work I did not have much time to write and do everything else, but now thank God I can have some time to bring some content to my blog.
As we all know nowadays thanks to the bullish cycle we are going through many currencies and projects are getting more and more income or capital value, that is why many people are joining the whole crypto world and this also brings more looks to the subject.
Taking into account the above, not only people who want to invest money or learn about the crypto world and its ecosystems will arrive, because people with other purposes will also arrive and try to take advantage of it all starting from small pyramids to reach points of scams and theft of goods.
This is what happened recently in the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) with Uranium Finance, they were victims of an exploit that took 50M dollars, this happened on Wednesday and according to reports of what happened, the hacker used a vulnerability that allowed him to alter the balance of the project to a value of 100. Thus taking the loot in several cryptos being these BNB, BUSD, BTC, ETH, DOT, USDT, ADA and U92 (the project's own currency).
It should be noted that this is not the first attack that the platform has suffered, but it is noteworthy how recent this second attack is, considering that just eleven days earlier they had suffered an attack in which they took with them about 1.3M dollars in BNB and BUSD.
Considering the previous attack, the people at Uranium FInance proceeded to create a migration to a second version, but apparently it did not help them, it is worth mentioning that in the version change their smart contracts were audited and that apparently they had overlapped their errors, which they had not.
This leads many to think that it could be a product of an internal work given the speed or the prompt completion and completion of a version change. In the meantime, the people at Uranium created a Telegram group in order to provide information to the victims of this attack and also advised not to inject more income to the project for the time being.
In an update of the case it is obtained that according to the same people of Uranium would be a developer in charge of perpetrating the attack or provide the necessary information to run it, since the exploit went into action a couple of hours after it began to run the V2 of the protocol.

Uranium will be neither the first nor the only one to be hacked, as similar activities have been seen in other smart contract cases. Such as MonsterSlayer, TurtleDex and Merrkat in which several million dollars were stolen. And according to estimated calculations in 2020 at least 122 hacks were perpetrated with crypto nexus worth several billion dollars at today's price.
Thank you for reaching this part of my post, as always grateful that you have the time to read and support me, in the comments I will be attentive, I do not say goodbye without wishing you a good day, afternoon or evening, it will be until a next opportunity, take care greetings from Venezuela.
