Hello Project Hope community, today I want to talk about something that to a large extent we are all in contact, and that we have been able to perceive that has been changing dramatically in recent decades (especially by the progress of cell phones and increasingly improved cameras in them), I want to talk about the progress in the photographs. Of course, when talking about this we can realize that behind the improvement in these there is a great development in terms of technology, specifically in the improvement of the use of lenses so that we can get more and more quality images.

About 25 years ago, when digital cameras were not so much in vogue, I was passionate about photographs, -although in reality I still am-, I have hundreds of photos printed with the traditional method, now practically obsolete, and replaced by laser prints and other types of ways of working with photography. I must say, obviously, that no matter how advanced the cameras were before, at the moment of converting them into something physical they could lose some quality, more of this we realize at the moment of seeing these old photos and comparing them with the current ones, wow, there is a big change.

My grandparents keep many photos from 50-60 years ago, the sepia color that characterizes them speaks of the old, partly because of the time they already have but even when it is preserved quite well, I know that much of that color is due to the old method with which they were treated, so in this aspect of photography, the Technology has advanced very fast.

Recently I've been trying with my phone some effects options with the photos, macro shots for example, and it made me remember when with my little camera I was trying to capture the images to somehow immortalize them.

The detail is that with my current phone I manage to take better pictures, much better, than with my old camera. Then there is the detail that now we can know immediately how the photos look, but previously, when using cameras with those old rolls, you could not know how they looked until the moment the photos were developed. This has been another technological breakthrough, since being able to incorporate screens in the cameras, or simply the same of the phone, gives us by itself already a great advantage.

When we went to the development lab, where we were often given an album, and had them in our hands, we used to back them up (with their respective photographic negatives), but nowadays this has also changed substantially.
