Investments as stress generators

in hive-175254 •  3 years ago

Since last year I started making some investments in different areas related to cryptocurrencies, trading, and currently Blockchain-based games, I did not think they could have such a degree of profitability, in fact I must confess that I was always skeptical about the games, something that has now radically changed, but, beyond this that I have commented, so far, what I want to emphasize is the fact that being an investor has its particularities that if not carried in the best way can affect your physical and mental health.

In this order of ideas, I add that last year I started my training as a trader in the Forex market, well, it is intense, it is not for everyone, the levels of stress that you must handle, the mental control, mastery of your psychology must be extreme, but it is worth doing, because if you can keep your mind sane in such a situation, I can definitely say that you will be prepared to tolerate almost anything...

I have been very methodical in my training in this aspect, I complied with each of the classes, I got up early to be active, watched videos, analyzed the market, which led me to the understanding of many things beyond the fact of trading itself. In addition, learning to study the market, Japanese candlesticks, supports, resistances, fundamental analysis, among other things, allows you to have another perspective of the market and future investments you plan to make.

I am still in training, in fact, I will be forever, because you never stop learning. I have also dabbled in the DeFi system, which has given me an approach to what decentralized bonds are and how to get the best benefits. At this point, the analysis that I learned in the trading studies have helped me, because it gives me the possibility to analyze the behavior of the crypto before investing something in a certain project, it does not mean that I can not be wrong, but it decreases the chances.

The risks are always there, you have to know that, the possibilities of losing are present there, in the process. And this last thing I just mentioned is something that is not for everyone, the stress that is handled before any investment can be too much to tolerate for some people, I am sure you know of many who can not stand the pressure of this type of business activities.

The image on the right is allusive to what I am talking about, many, under the weight of the pressure can enter into a kind of chaos by not tolerating significant price drops, and see that, by the same reality of cryptos, their capital can drop by half in a matter of hours, and then recover in a few days, even with significant gains.

I recently entered the game Axie Infinty, as I mentioned a few days ago in another post, and I had the projection of being able to recover my invested capital in about two months, but recently the creators of the game made some adjustments in the benefits, I can say that they decreased what could be earned daily, which made my projection of capital recovery had to make it to 4 months.

I really must say that at first I said, wow, this is really bad, and I was worried, however, since I entered I have already recovered at least 30% of what I invested, and analyzing what they did, is to increase the sustainability of the economy of the game, and to be able to raise the prices of cryptos, which makes me feel a little more security with the project.

For others this meant almost a catastrophe, but, it is a matter of perspective. What is very true is that you have to have a lot of emotional and mental control when investments are the path we want to follow for our sustainability.

I would like to know what you have to say about this, I read you in the comments. Thanks for reading my post.

Generally the concept of investment whether it is Forex trading or crypto trading, it is meant to produce stress. When I say stress, I mean genuine stress that can tamper with one's emotions and thinking but just like you said. Trust me if you can handle those stress that comes with it I mean investment, you can tolerate almost anything

Hi @mandate, that's right, it's a reality, investing comes hand in hand with stress, because regardless of how hard we try to stay totally calm, it's not possible at all.
But, it's a matter of us being able to believe in ourselves more, that's the key.

Greetings friend @josevas217

It is considered that one of the main sources of stress are investments, as people begin to wonder day after day, will I have done well to invest in that? when will I get my money back? what if I lose everything? and even though everything is flowing very well, the psychological pressure that they generate themselves does not let them be happy, and they end up generating levels of stress out of the ordinary, and with it diseases such as high tension, that is why to make an investment we must learn to be ourselves, if we make a good previous study everything will go well, and to trust in what we do.

Hello friend @ josevas217. Always when there is a business it is something that will create stress for us, if we are making an investment the stress of whether it is going to be earned or we are going to lose the investment, but I imagine that the world of cryptocurrencies is stronger stress, at the When we want to make an investment we have to learn to manage our emotions so that they do not affect our health. Greetings and thanks friend for sharing your article

Investing in any business is something that will always fill us with stress, but talking about the field of cryptocurrencies are big words, it is a stress not recommended for cardiac, by the level of uncertainty that sometimes we dawn and the crashes that at some point experience these.
thanks for the contribution, and good luck!

I've lived it, cryptos are literally not for the faint of heart, it's crazy heh heh heh heh.
but as well as you can lose, you can win, I think that's what most people look at, and this detail can make you lose the big picture.

hello @josevas217,
it is said that if you invest in coins the ghost of losses will always be present and this does not let sleep to millions of investors who depend on profits to live, on the other hand knowing how long it takes to recover an investment is essential if you do not want to be always anxious, I remember a few days ago a friend invested in the axie infinity game and when I asked him how long it would take him to recover his investment he told me that he did not know and that he did not care since he was earning passive income with the income from the game, this gave me to understand that due to fashion or ignorance he did not understand the risks of the investment he made.

The buzz in the NFT world recently has taken cryptocurrency to another height and I must admit it is worth it. I haven't played the Axie Infinity game but I heard a lot of persons talking about how cool the game is and coupled with the rise in it price. I know is a nice game but as per regaining your Capital from the little experience that I have got I think it might take more time than you are expecting. But nontheless bear it in mind that it is a good game as I had similar experience while I was playing VNFT back then. Rememeber gas fee and others will contribute too, you have a lot to learn just keep us posted.

Hi friend, indeed, gas can be a factor that decreases earnings, however, there is an alternate wallet, which is the gambling wallet, in which many things are handled and facilitates the process, making it possible to avoid many commission charges. It's great.

Hello friend @josevas217, it is true what you mention, investments can generate some stress, especially when you live in countries with high inflation, because you place your valuable asset in some projects in which you have some confidence. Like you, I had the opportunity to invest in a NFT game that its beginnings were a little bit rushed which generated me some desperation to recover the invested capital, today I am calmer because I recovered the capital and well I will take advantage of it as far as I can. I see in the games a great investment portfolio.

Thank you for sharing your experiences and appreciations about investments, have a great weekend.

It's a fact @josevas217 training is not really easy, especially when it comes to cryptocurrency trading, I can really feel the words in your post, because I have been in that shoe before. And it is also true all of us will continue to learn forever. What I have learned from training people is "endurance" and we need a lot of it, if you want to succeed as a trainer.

hi @josevas217

Perhaps you could try to make your sentences a bit shorter? Example:

Since last year I started making some investments in different areas related to cryptocurrencies, trading, and currently Blockchain-based games, I did not think they could have such a degree of profitability, in fact I must confess that I was always skeptical about the games, something that has now radically changed, but, beyond this that I have commented, so far, what I want to emphasize is the fact that being an investor has its particularities that if not carried in the best way can affect your physical and mental health.

It's quite difficult to read such a super-long sentences and you may be losing part of your audience.
(by the time I've reached end of the sentence - I wasn't sure any more how did it start and what is it that you're trying to say).

....

I've really tried to read this post. But I need to give up. For that one particular reason. Almost every paragraph is like one long and over-structured sentence.

Cheers, Piotr

Thank you very much @crypto.piotr for the annotation. It's true, the paragraphs are very long, I'm not used to do it, but this time I extended them. I will keep it in mind for later.
Good day to you, best regards.

@tipu curate

Thank you for support.
Have a nice day.

Greetings friend @ josevas217, certainly when one makes an investment, our mind is always in constant stress to know what to do was the right thing or not, the important thing is to be able to have the necessary self-control to be able to face all this stress.

The reason why i don't like investing in crypto especially altcoins is stress, the whales control the price in the short term and any silly they do will affect the price of the coin.

Trading in crypto is really stressful, I tried it for few days then stopped, I already have stress from studying no need for more stress haha. If someone can handle stress and be ready for everything then that's the perfect person for trading, just requires studying the markets and similar things too.

I remembered playing Splinterlands. I spent a lot of time studying the game, the cards, and some tricks too. I made such good progress in the game but sadly I didn't have enough knowledge about it's market which is a great place for trading so I had to stop and find some free time to study it.

Nice read!

Hi @josevas217, in the world of cryptocurrencies there is always something new to learn every day, that is why to reduce the risk of loss you must be in constant training and however this is not an absolute guarantee. I have some experience not from my own knowledge but from someone close to me and I know the stress that this can generate and the sleepless nights that I also spent pending to the market. However, it is all a matter of perspective as you yourself say and knowing how to control our emotions. Greetings and thanks for sharing your information

What I know is that it is a risk many times, but really everything requires an unpaid investment, which is mental, emotional and physical, coupled with the pressure exerted by the elements with which you are "playing". In life it's like that, you just weren't prepared to "gamble" in a virtual way. Good post :)
