Once again, the market starts to fall... What do I do now?

in hive-175254 •  3 years ago

Hello community, today I would like to talk about something that is cyclical, which is obviously common in the crypto environment, but unfortunately many people do not end up seeing, understanding.

When the fall of cryptocurrencies starts it is total chaos, most people start talking about it, some say that they had already warned it, "that the end of cryptos was near" and this is the end, this cycle repeats itself in every bearish period, over and over again, and unfortunately the same thing always happens, many -too many- people tend to sell whatever they have in crypto, at much lower prices than when they bought them.

Once they have sold, a few days, or weeks pass, and even in some opportunities months or years, and the reality is that the coins begin to rise in price again, often mark new record highs, and those who have sold out of fear end up regretting it, but the loss was already given at the time they decided to sell and hit that Sell button....

Is it tragic, maybe, but let's say that the lack of experience has its cost, it takes its toll, and no doubt it can be many times a high value. Now, the question is that these people end up distancing themselves from the crypto environment because they lost money, and the fault, according to them, is the market, will they believe it?, they humanize the market, some even go so far as to say that the market acts against them as if it had a life and will also focus on them as investors, please?

Many times these same ones go back to buy currencies, they are supposed to have a different mentality than when they did it for the first time assuming that they did not have the preparation for it and that in the end they had to study to be able to face it again, but do they? No, they do not watch a video, they do not read a book, they do not learn to read the market, and they will simply fall in the same problem, because there is no change of mental perspective, they do not understand that if they continue doing the same thing they will obtain the same results. It is as simple as that.

Particularly I am not an expert in cryptocurrencies, far from it, but I have spent a lot of time training myself in this area, trying to understand the market, to know various forms of investment, to understand the functioning of the Blockchain.

I also spent about 1 year studying the Forex market, which although it is true that it is not like the cryptocurrency market, I can say that what I learned in that area helped me to strengthen everything that has to do with technical analysis, to know indicators, I learned from the different brokers, plus it gave me another point of view of what Trading is.

But I insist, I am not a specialist at all, but I can say with all certainty that all knowledge we acquire will benefit us in all areas of our lives, and that in economic and financial terms, no matter how much we study we will never be free of risks. Entering any market carries its implicit risks, it is normal, and the only way to be able to minimize risks is with education, otherwise, we will be condemned to continue making the same mistakes....

I wanted to share these thoughts, I look forward to reading your comments. Greetings.

Greetings @josevas217 💕😊

I strongly agree with your point about people or analyst having different opinion or discretion on what to do whenever the crypto market seems to be going down. As for me I actually see it as an opportunity to stack up more coins in my wallet by buying the dip since I'll make more profits when the coins rises back or probably when the market appears to be more stable and bullish.

Thanks for sharing this great post with love from @hardaeborla and I hope you have a great day ahead ❤️💕❤️

Excellent post my friend @ josevas217, especially for those who are getting acquainted with the crypto market. Generally this market is compared with others and it is concluded that it is very risky and it is true, for the same reason it also offers great investment opportunities, it is enough to understand that like any other its movements are cyclical, sometimes they have a downward trend. , other times bullish, it is reversed in the former, the harvest is harvested in the latter ;)

hello @josevas217,when currencies fall in value the only place we should look for guidance is in our action plan, it is there where we will look for the answers that months before we raised, usually people who do well as investors have an action plan that contemplate possible market declines and unfavourable scenarios, these solutions are usually thought months before the event happened, having a plan that allows you to operate with a rising market and one down will allow you to be calm in both cases.

If there is something that anyone who ventures into this market should understand is that it is fluctuating, that there are very good times and others where those who do not know the subject could even die of a heart attack if they do not understand the movement of this.
thank you for sharing your concern.

I have a friend who tried to trade and his blood pressure went up, so he couldn't do it.

The first thing to do is not to panic. As we say here in Venezuela, we must have a hard head and think carefully about what we are going to do, study very well and fundamentally, because that fall must always have a reason for being.
If we don't know the reason why we will not know how to act.

Analyzing everything is necessary, we will not be able to be absolutely right about everything, but getting an idea is necessary. Keeping calm.

Hello friend, it is true, every time there is a bear market people get alarmed, but it is because they do not know anything about the market, as you say it can take years to return to the bull market, if you believe in what you do you will have patience to get good results, otherwise it is best to forget about this world and remain an employee more.

Greetings friend, you are right, every time the market is in the red panic runs, and most people ask themselves the question "what am I going to do now", but I think the first thing we should learn is that the cryptocurrency market is very volatile and that the setbacks are a natural part of the system, but most are carried away by those who jump to prophesize that I am bringing the end of cryptocurrencies.

To believe that we are at the end of cryptocurrencies is even ridiculous, when they are being used much more and much more. But there are people like that.

Hello friend @josevas217.

As we become more familiar with the behavior of the crypto market we realize that it is very volatile and as you express very well has a cyclical behavior, however, although many people hear about this that you explain very well sometimes end up despairing and even sell at a loss, and the important thing is to understand that we do not lose or gain until we sell our cryptos.

I really congratulate you for your constant contributions to the teaching of the cryptographic world. Greetings and many successes.

You don't lose or win until you sell, that's right. With that in mind, we have to be clear that without patience you can't be here. Thanks for commenting.

The Chinese Government has been a problem to cryptomarkets especially, they keep finding ways to fall the market but as will all know that anything that china ban alsways does well just like Youtube, Twitter and so many more.

Although we might see a big correction very soon i think will do something unpredricted before

saludos amigo el mundo de la criptomoneda es un sube y baja, pero hay que tener paciencias,ya que esa en algun momento tiene que subir.me gustan muchos tus post amigo jose.

Hola @brigida-guerra

Spot on Jose. You've hit the nail on the head. I know a few people who bought Crypto, held it for a few months, got very excited by the price rises and held on, then the price fell sharply and they panic sold at a loss. Even the word Cryptocurrency now will bring bitterness to their expression. They failed to see the potential and how much of a disruptive concept it is and will continue to be.

That person who held when the price went up but sold when it went down is the clear example of what most people do, unfortunately.

greetings @josevas217 the answer in this Blockchain life is only one "invest".

As per my analysis it will go more down and we have to keep patience but if you have excess amount of fund you can buy and hold and earn more profit as it is the best strategy to earn from low.

But we have to hold for the Q4 for the price to come back to normal. As china fear is still going on.

Hi, thanks for sharing i've over the years see people panic sell all their crypto asset when its bear market, as you stated earlier lack of proper understanding of the crypto space is the major issue here i guess if they understand what they are dealing with FUD will not be their problem, like i do say often crypto education is much needed thanks for sharing.

And education is at hand, there is so much information circulating that I can't explain why people don't educate themselves. It is a matter of each person's decision. It is the best way to avoid falling into panic.

Hello @josevas217!

Well, the Crypto market has always been unstable, going up and down. However, if we understand the reasons or at least get a good study of the market we will be able to deal with the situation properly instead of panicking especially if we are talking about great amounts of money which is something many can't afford to lose.

Thanks for sharing!

These are issues that we learn from experience, but we must also dedicate time to study, otherwise, panic will continue to limit the chances of winning and increase the chances of losing.
