Torus is one of those companies that has invested in mainstreaming Decentralised Technology.

Why is Chrome extension really helpfull...?

Now if you have heard about decentralized applications before , and if you have also used them then yo might be knowing that you can't access a DAPP(Decntralized Applications) directly from a chrome browser.
Now what torus has annouced today is the beta version of a chrome extension that will allow the users to access the decentralized applications directly from the chrome browser itself.

The torus Chrome extension is built on top of Metamask , a crypto wallet and a gateway to blockchain applications.
The Torus also said that they have built their extension in such a way that it will avoid the compromising of wallets and financial loss.

The extension is also integrated with the Torus wallet as well. Now a user can directly access their wallet using their Google Account.
Torus Also said that they have worked equally on the security as well by introducing a key manangement system known as tKey.
Now Users key can be split up that will provide an extra layer of securty compared to many other extensions.
