I am always aware of your publications appearing in my feed, I look for you in the communities that we share, I carefully read each of your publications, trying to understand and assimilate all the content you share with us, always trying to leave a quality comment that lets you know How much I admire you, how much I appreciate your work… but you never answer me! I no longer know what to do to get your attention.
In recent days I wrote an article in which i talked about the importance for authors that we dedicate part of our time, not only to read their content carefully but also to leave good comments on the publications we read, with good me I mean quality comments, well thought out comments based on the reading done. Now from the author's point of view, have you thought about what your readers feel when they make a good comment on one of your posts and they don't receive any response? Have you stopped to think about how it could affect the growth of your blog? Could you tell me why you have never answered me? xD.
If you have asked yourself any of the questions described above, or you have not done so, but you find the subject interesting, accompany them to unveil part of the mysteries involved in establishing and maintaining a good relationship with your readers that allows your blog to have increasing acceptance and "engagement".
It's not just about writing, you also have to read
In my opinion, when developing a certain topic, the main interest that should motivate us is to establish a true bond with our readers, to know that what we want to transmit reaches those who read us in a clear, timely, and entertaining way, that we can provoke the "need" to love to keep reading our publications, to be part of your daily reading.
To achieve our mission, it is not only about making a "quality" publication, but also about showing interest in the opinions of those who read us, read carefully and analyze the comments they make us and obtain from them, not only the We need encouragement to move forward, if not the different points of view and, why not, the constructive criticisms that allow us to improve and adapt our publications to the taste of our readers.
Win-Win by typing
When we write a publication, the first thing we do is choose a topic that suits either the profile of our blog, a message that we want to transmit at that moment, or a certain group of users to what we consider our "regular readers", that is, Our content carries an implicit motivation, we want to get something from our reader, it can be recognized, it can be more scope for our content or simply a vote. But have you ever wondered what your reader gains by reading you?
Well simple ! a lot of knowledge and a written manifestation of my creative genius.
You may not be one of those who would answer that way, however, you may not have stopped to think what the reader gets from reading you. I am not referring to the exchange of votes or the awards for comments, I mean if he can get through your publication a deeper and more direct approach with you if he can establish a link that allows him to know you more and even get some advice or point of view on your work to help you grow within the platform.
The secret of the game is called… reciprocity
Attention! I do not mean with the above that we must get involved in obtaining something in exchange for what we give, as if it were a “quid pro quo” I mean that, if we want our readers to identify with us, first we must do it with them. If we want them to take the trouble to read and analyze our content, the least they deserve from us is that we also read carefully what they write to us, for them what they read is as important as what they have to say about what they read.
I know that perhaps some comments may seem "superficial" or lacking any importance, however, unless it is a robot (bot), a scam (scam), or junk content (spam) everyone who writes you has the right to interact with you, what are many messages? Feel happy that means that your work is appreciated and you are already famous, have you not heard famous singers say that they owe everything to their audience? Famous writers owe it all to their readers, no more, no less.
I hope that this article can be read especially by "great and highly reputed users" not only for the support (in votes) it may receive but also so that they can see the point of view of those who read them, of whom we even see them as references. or mentors at the time of writing, of whom we follow them and only ask in return for a little interaction, some advice or to learn more about their point of view.
If, like me, you have ever felt the need for someone to answer a comment and they have not, what are you waiting for to share this publication with them? Maybe that way they will realize what you are trying to tell them with each of the twenty comments that you place in each of your publications xD
Tell me, have you ever been waiting for an answer to a comment? Are you one of those who answer each of the comments they leave you? Or do you think it is a waste of time to answer comments instead of writing content? I would like to read you in the comment box, I do answer ... and if I don't ... claim it! You have every right.
We keep reading!
Hello friend @karupanocitizen
Interesting point you brought up for discussion. Writing takes time, in order to come up with some idea that will bring something to whoever reads it. Now, reading comments and responding to them is part of what is incumbent upon us in writing, especially if we are in the business of writing with the intention of giving some message.
In order to know if we are explaining ourselves well, it is good to read the comments and to know what they are telling us, so that we can also respond. Particularly I try to answer all the comments left in my posts, and I know it takes time to do it, but it must be done. It may take a while, but I try to do it.

I totally agree with you friend @josevas217, if you dedicate yourself to writing it is logical that you are interested in being read, at the end and after that you live, but if you do not take the trouble to read carefully and discuss the feedback you receive from your readers, how do you intend to continue growing? How to ask them to read us if we are not able to read and reply to those who write to us? Thank you very much for your highly valued opinion and for taking the trouble to reflect on what is written, it is always nice to read you.
Greetings my friend!!!
