One of google photos' features is that Google uses artificial intelligence to help users identify people and things in their photos. Given the number of images we can take with our smartphone cameras, it can sometimes be difficult for us to find what we're looking for, and that's the purpose of using artificial intelligence.

Apple has a similar advantage, but the company seems to be hoping to strengthen it, and according to a new report from Bloomberg News' Mark Gurman, Apple appears to have acquired a company called Vilynx earlier this year. This is a startup that trains artificial intelligence to study videos to understand their content through visual, audio or even textual signals.
The company's artificial intelligence has been used to help create tags for videos to make them more likely to appear in search results. Apple has since confirmed that it has made the acquisition through its usual famous statement: "Apple buys tech startups from time to time and we do not generally discuss our purpose or plans."

It's unclear what Apple plans to do with this acquisition, but as we've said, the company may hope to enhance the capabilities of its Photo App by using more advanced artificial intelligence to help identify photos and videos so users can search for things more easily. These acquisitions are usually used in a more accurate way, so even if Apple integrates Vilynx technology, we may not necessarily know about it.
I hope this will have benefits for the company.
