For those of us who live in tropical regions, we only enjoy two annual seasons, summer and winter, and the hours of the day are very similar to the hours of the night, however, we know that Mother Nature develops four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter.

Therefore, it is inconceivable to think that there is another climatic season on planet earth, however, recent research has determined that there is a period of time characterized by an atypical behavior and with meteorological variables different from the four already known seasons.

This atypical behavior and meteorological variables other than the four known seasons has been identified as the fifth season of the year, however, this unusual season only occurs in Estonia, and is usually accompanied by a volatile period that comes after winter and shortly before spring.

In this sense it is important to mention that this volatile period found on the climatic influences in the Estonian region, is still a subject of research as it is currently only a scientific inference therefore it is yet to be determined if it really is a new climatic season, the truth is that while experts try to elucidate this phenomenon, its atypical behavior brings floods that leave the land surface submerged, an element that generates curiosity and attracts tourists.
