Greetings and welcome dear readers of this prestigious platform, this publication is aimed at a term that is handled at the institutional level and has been studied throughout our history, I speak of leadership.
As a conceptual contribution it has been studied since the time of Aristotle and nowadays we hear phrases such as "leaders are born, not made", "some are born to command and others to obey" and it is also very popular to hear "he who does not know how to command is made to obey".
From the psychological perspective, leadership according to Buile (2016), "are all those qualities and skills that an individual develops to influence the behavior of people individually or collectively". These qualities are related to the ability to manage, take initiatives, encourage and motivate others, as well as to evaluate the different aspects of institutional order.

In this sense, it can be established that leadership is a relationship of influence that can be generated between the different social areas of an individual, so that in order to understand the functioning of leadership in human behavior, we will approach it from the administrative component.
In this scenario, it is valid to perceive good leaders with motivation, evaluation and direction capabilities over their people, as well as we can also find scenarios where the abuse of power, arrogance, corruption, are aspects that are developed by those people who assume important positions in a company or a country.
In one way or another, both scenarios are forms of leadership, the first we consider as positive due to the qualities that are driven and the second as negative, in this category would enter the great dictators of our history, where their power and authority allowed them to assume the presidency of a country and stay in power for long periods of time.
Given the above scenarios, we realize that in both processes there is an influence on others, which is the premise that gives entry to the formation of the leaders we know today. However, the idea of writing this publication is aimed at evaluating the qualities of efficient leaders that allow us to take hold of these qualities and the ability to influence others.

Thus, an effective or efficient leader is one who has the ability to generate a holistic vision of the future, assuming a strategy that allows to achieve real changes in the behavior of people, in the same way they take advantage of the power obtained in function of their position, to encourage and value the work of their followers, making them feel important and a strong pillar within the working group.
It allows the development and fluidity of the work, since it manages and provides the necessary resources that allow to obtain the success, has the ability to value the effort, so it is necessary to learn to reward the effort that each participant of the working group performs.
In other words, a true leader is one who takes advantage of his power and uses it as a vehicle to obtain good results and maintain an optimal state of mind in an organization, work group, family or company.

Grateful with the community @project.hope and with all the management team of the same one that they motivate us to continue working in a mutual and balanced growth.
Hello my friend @madridbg, very interesting article, from my point of view a leader not only organizes and delegates functions, for me a true leader as you mention in your article is one who takes initiatives, encourages and motivates his friends or employees, otherwise he would be a simple boss who takes advantage of his power to coerce those who are under his command.
See you later brother, have a great week.

Greetings dear friend and colleague @amestyj, I agree with you if we have the possibility of assuming important responsibilities, the ideal would be to use that power that in a way generate this type of position to grow their followers. As far as possible, if we feel good about the project, let's work towards its growth and that feeling can only be generated by good delegators or leaders. Thanks for stopping by and leaving such a good comment

Hello @madridbg
I liked what you said in your publication "an effective or efficient leader is one who has the ability to generate a holistic vision of the future", certainly the greatest advantage of a leader is his vision of the future, as it can guide working groups based on a long-term perspective.
Best regards, be well.

Many want to be leaders and just because they shout louder they already believe they are leaders, but not all serve to be a leader, you are right, a leader seeks to achieve the objectives in the union of all those who participate and somehow knows how to lead people .
Everyone wants to be a leader but not everyone knows how to be a leader.

Dear @madridbg
Topics related to leadership and psychology are definetly one of my favourite ones.
I myself would never agree with statement that "leaders are born, not made". Would you agree with that sentence?
In my personal view - leadership is a skill which we need to develop and constantly work on. It's not something we're born with.
Interesting choice of topic. Upvoted already :)
Cheers, Piotr

I agree with your approach friend @crypto.piotr leadership only develop it with experience and day to day interactions, although there is much literature on how to form a good leader, we only get nurtured in the conceptual, the practical part, the tact to influence others, the right way to grow the followers, among other aspects associated with the subject, we only develop it through constant exercise or practice.
That is why leaders are made according to experience. Thanks for stopping by and leaving your opinion
